GW2 already HAS killed WoW and it's not even released yet.

Same with me, about 10 months.
My account got hacked, called Blizzard to fix it. I had to Waite a few days for my new video card, and hacked again before I got it.
Misunderstanding or not I'm not even gonna call, I'm done !

Where I'm concerned, GW2 was never a factor and will never become one even if it turns out to be the next MMO messiah (or not). Alas, Blizzard did all the work needed to kill WoW for me.

People need to get over killing wow... You can't kill something that has such a huge backstory and time tenior like warcraft. Fly by night MMO's like rift will come and go. But the people playing wow have been playing warcraft since their ibm 486's way back when. It's like a first girlfriend, that your always going to have history with... assuming anyone reading this has had a girlfriend. While I am no longer and advocate of wow I see why it was so succesful and with the A.D.H.D. going on in the video game community I don't see anything being quite the same. On that note bring on DIABLO 3!!! Also guidwars 2 looks well done... but can you make anything as satisfying as killing the freaking lich king? Doubtful... hoping... but I don't see even how it would be possible to develop that kind of feeling towards doing something any more.
Who cares about "killing WoW?" What a juvenile way to think. It's like "my daddy can beat up your daddy, na nanny boo boo."
Seriously people.
I think this is right up there with the most pointless threads ever.
