Darkfall: Grungroc, PvE Fights & PvP Changes

The official Darkfall Online blog has been updated with lots of new information about what the team has been working on for the last few weeks. Included in the article are details about the Grungroc, PvE monster abilities improvements and land-based PvP objectives and incentives.
An addition to the upcoming patch after next week: Ship Captains will have a defense mechanism to damage an area around their ship. The power level of these defenses vary depending on the size of the ship they command. Some changes are going to make it into the meditation system as promised as well, attributes and crafting skills, as well as increased drop rates for stat consumables and books/scrolls. Every Darkfall account has been gifted 25,000 meditation points for Darkfall’s 2nd year anniversary, don’t forget to claim yours by logging into the account management system and pressing the CLAIM button. To answer a related frequently asked question: Even those with inactive accounts are eligible for the points if they renew their subscription this month. There’s also a lot more we plan to do with meditation points in the near future.

Nothing will save Darkfall from Xsyon...
Time will come when only cheaters and fps monkeys are left and all the players, who wanted a true sandbox experience have moved on to Xsyon.

but sadly you don't even have that, as all of the features are currently turned off until further notice. sounds fun!
How Ironic it is.. I remember quite a while ago when DF had a ton of features turned off due to a horribly inexperienced development team and an amazing buggy game. How quicky one forgets.
All features are currently on. Back to DF. This is good news. It is about time I resubbed agian and tried it out.

Still no skill cap.....without which the game is a complete joke.....
Xyson flamers go away, Xyson is many miles behind DF in gameplay at the moment. But do tell me when you get a proper combat system and I'll try it properly.
These minor changes will make the gameplay better bit by bit. Please educate yourselves what you're talking about, we've known for ages that the next expansion solves the no skill cap 'issue'.
And there's no hacking problem in DF, they're caught and IP banned very quickly these days
So don't make stuff up just to flame your games competition or people will start doing the same and trust me Xyson currently has a lot more problems than DF.
