A part of the Galactic Empire, founded in 1997 in the MSN Gaming Zone
If you are interested in joining the Galactic Empire, it is imperative that you make an informed decision, and that you join for all the right reasons. Many gamers seek to join the largest clan or guild entity that they see. By all accounts, proponents of the empire do not regard the organization as a clan or guild, but as a free, non-profit association dedicated to what is very much a political movement against iniquities to which imperials object so passionately.
Membership in the Galactic Empire is heavily based on strong standards, both morally and ethically, as well as on circumspect recruitment criteria and protocol that all recruiting officers in the organization are expected to follow. Ideally, the empire looks for players who support the imperial platform and, more importantly, advocate (or wish to advocate) the preservation of moral integrity and ethical boundaries in online gaming.

This sounds interesting but I am wanting to play as both Empire and Alliance sides of the story. The you worded your recruitment sounds like that may not be possible.
