I'm actualy a bit peeved about it. Never thought I would ever want to play it again and yet at time of typing I am already scaning over my office to find my old copy.

Spooky, why the hell did you post this! I lost many days playing morrowind to its fullest. Now, I have to do it again!
BOOYAKA!
I get that this is a mod project, but devs need to pay attention do this more with older games... so many of the classics would sell well with updated gfx.
Lol, don't have to tell me m8. I am just wondering about how many Cliff Racers I have had to kill since 2002 as I clear my diary and pre-split up with my girlfreind. Somebody put the coffee on, it's going to be a long night!
Omg omg omg., can't wait to play that again. Personally I liked Morrowind better than Oblivion so this extra exciting for someone like me. It was the first "huge world game" that I played. It was NAUSEATING to play simply because of how much shit there was to do. Weird but true.
All it takes is one bad day.
I've never played Morrowind, but these graphics make it look decent. Think it's worth totally skipping over the original and just playing it with the mod pack?
I know a few people who just got it in the Steam sale that have never played it either who intend to do just that. I say go for it.
I certainly would want to download it, but, even on the video it shows a somewhat inconsistent framerate. It seems that this modpack makes the game almost high-end.
I know right.. it's too bad the best boots in the game make you blind... but TOTALLY worth it :-) (Flying boots of Blindess for the munchness win!)
Here we go again... Play Morrowind with a new mod ;-)
Lets hope this one is as good as Wizards Islands - Scourge of the Frost Bringer. Or better lets hope it's compatible. After a crash I did reinstall Morrowind completely, but never played it again - not going through it a 2nd time, but a new mod makes things interesting again...
And as said before in this thread... Morrowind is way better than Oblivion in tale-telling and lore/background. Only the graphics of Oblivion is better than Morrowind (at least Oblivion has widescreen resolutions )
FYI.. The thing has been pulled because a few people got butt hurt that their mods were in the collection. Bunch of losers.
It is a shame some people were upset that their work was used in this. This is a fantastic example of what a community can accomplish together to enhance a game and make it live on for years. I still have not played a game that felt like Morrowind. It felt like a world, and, eventually, I was a Goddess, roaring across the sky aflame.
Of course, I guess that sentiment means it a good thing I will not be trying Morrowind 2011. I would not be a good thing if I got sucked into that world again.
Everyone should be glad that things like this are made possible by Bethesda.
"Gamers will no longer buy the argument that every MMO requires a subscription fee to offset server and bandwidth costs. It's not true you know it, and they know it." Jeff Strain, co-founder of ArenaNet, 2007
WTF? No subscription fee?
I was so excited about this! God I hate whiners that get something as amazing as this pulled. I even had my old cds out and dusted off *cry*
I still play GOTY from time to time, but yeah, it did look good that way.
Godspeed my fellow gamer
So did I. Thankfully I grabbed it when it was still online and somehow thought of the idea to save the website just in case something were to happen.
Don't worry, though. I'm under the impression he's going to upload the how-to on a different site. And I'm more than sure you can find a seeded torrent file of all the mods.
Here's a good read if anyone is interested on the matter: link.
