Problems with the servers

in Lord of the Rings Online

Been over 10 Minutes now. No servers, no forums and no website. Anyone else having issue?

Are you suggesting coconuts migrate!?

    yes even Turbines home page that has nothing to do with lotro is down

    Someone tripped over the chord and didn't realize it.

    DDO is down too. No notice. I wish one day MMO companies use separate hosting for forum and the game so that when one goes down, other channel of communication stays open. Now I could be browsing DDO/LOTRO forum and imagining some alt build but I am looking at Rift do and EvE instead. GJ.

    It looks like their whole subnet is down if you do a traceroute. It gets to internap, which I assume is their hosting provider in Boston, and it reports "destination net unreachable", indicating a severe router outage. I wouldn't have thought it, but it seems that LOTRO/Turbine has no geophysical redundancy, very sad.

    Well, this blows. I was looking forward to getting out of Moria today, and recording at least one video podcast in LOTRO today. I gues I'll just have to suck it up and go play some WoW instead, dangit.

    Currently playing:
    LOTRO, Rift (beta) and WoW (on occasion)

    The did not ruin them, they just turned them inside out. Strategic turn based game turned into siple action FPS and low magic Odyssey tuned into flashy slaughterfest. But they are quite succesfull in hiding the trust behind the facade and people actually feel the IP is somehow respected.

    I was viewing the EU site (cause I cant get on any US servers)and they are having an extended 2 hour maintenance there can,t find anything on the US servers

    Well I am guessing Turbine finally got hacked because they felt they were perfect and all the account hack issues was soley the players...

    Became a member of this forum

    Found the where LOTRO sends out messages when the server takes a dump.

    Installed  a plugin that shows buffs and debuffs .. can't wait to try it.
