recustomize existing chars?

in EVE Online

i have a trial account from a year ago. since they just released a new patch with a new char creator can i resub to the game and redo my character?

    I think that if the trial is over then you'll need to buy the game or get another trial account.

    I don't recall reading about trial extensions for people that never bought the game to begin with.
