In your opinion, the funnest and easiest class for a new player and why?

I couldn't see any recent threads around this subject so I thought it'd be a good idea to start one

Depends, do you want to experience the combat system? if not, choose a mage class, they don`t use it, and are almost normal. The exception is speallweaving, but that does not come in before lvl 50.
Want a challenge, play a soft class, melee type. I have a Bear Shaman myself, hard the first 20-30 lvls, then it gets stronger.
Ranger is a pretty fun class and is probably the easiest of all classes to level atleast imo.
