Targeting

They make it sound like the game is going to use third person shooter mechanics, as in no tab targeting / target locking. Can anyone confirm that? If so this game will truly be insane.

    this video shows some and he's using a ps3 controller so no tab key.. unless there is a controller button mapped to "target lock" ? Not sure

    The way the game plays right now, it does feel like there are invisible crosshairs on the screen, but in the keybinds, it does have the option to hit "Q"  to "Cycle target."  And that appears to be broken atm.  Tab only locks the target.  The "Cycle Target" option does keep my hopes up, tho.

    No, there is tab-targeting. With something locked on, you still swing at them even if the camera is facing away.
