Yeah but with a little creativity anyone can create something like this and make it believable...I guess the question is would anyone do that, and if so, is it more believable this is made by someone as a joke or leaked by Blizzard? Either way, everyone expects more expansions and eventually a new MMO anyway...but people love to KNOW, not assume, so hype it up through the roof. And they can do ANYTHING they want with WoW lore to make it fine...just adding time travel can make that work...We'll definitely see ridiculous things in the future, inventive, and people will keep playing because hey, if it works, just keep adding..
I didnt know anything about the diablo xpacs and had no idea that it would take that long to finally play the protoss campaigns in sc2.
Its surprising that blizzard would release two more gear resets (xpacs) after cata in such a short time.
Also this TiTan thing seems interesting.
so overall, good post OP. thanks.
Every two years is a "short time"?
Seriously? The "release an Xpac every two years that has all of it's raid content beaten within a month" is exactly why I quit WoW. They should really consider stepping up the release schedule to at least yearly...
Two more expansions for WoW really ? That is a ton of milk my friends.
World of Warcraft was released six years ago, and they're only about to release their 3rd expansion. EQ, on the other hand, released 9 or 10 by their 6th anniversary.
So true. Blizzard can't win for losing. They are either .."not putting out enough content" or " milking a cash cow". Guess either way it doesn't matter. Other games could have put out a million expansions each..and WOW would still be on top.(This is coming from someone who is burnt out on WOW and hasn't played in a year)
Considering they have and will likely continue to make gobs of money either way, I really don't think they care what people think.
Yes. Sticks and stones may break their bones but words will.....CHA CHING!!!. Suddenly their bones no longer hurt. Yes...everything has healed up nicely.
The only thing that interests me is the WoW Movie slated for 2013 and I have two subs to WoW. Soon to be none.
Only if it is the quality CGI of the cinematic trailers for WoW and The Burning Crusade.
I read something a few months back in PCGamer mag supposedly directed by sam rami (not sure i spelled that right) so pretty sure it won't be full cg. They also made a poke at how sam always includes bruce campbell in his movies. Still hope it's better then the dungeon siege movie, I still cringe when i think of that one
Real or not I think it does a good job with its estimates :P.
And, I'm curious as to what Titan is or will be.
What about a PVP -centric game based around control of mining the rare elements found on the Saturn mon Titan, in a not-so distant future? Above ground PVP with jet packs and vehicles, and below ground actually fighting in the mines in smaller squad based tactical skirmishes. You'd have to take some liberties with the existing scientific understanding of that moon, but it would match the Sci-Fi and the PVP element, as well as this "Name" that most people expect from Blizzard's second crack at an MMO.
I am pretty sure that Blizzard won't do what Sony did and pillage the player base of their first MMO to populate the seconds, so I'd expect gameplay that appeals to a different audience.
diablo 3 2012 blizzard is just to slow at getting anything out prolly why their console game got canceled they coudnt get it out fast enough and console games are made fast. This is just fail by the time d3 comes out soo many better games will be out diablo 3 was going to be lots of peoples game to lay waiting for the next mmo. Look at troin rift is being complete hella fast blizzard lost me a as a fanboy long ago when the messed wow up wiht tbc. Trion and biware are pretty much the only to companies I am a fanboy of well and nintendo but who isn't.
Titans is refering to the path of the titans which was rmoved from teh luanch of cata and will be put in at a later date and you call yourselves blizz fanboys.
What I find most interesting is that the timeframe between Cata, x4 and x5 is only a year and a half instead of the normal 2 years. If this is legit, I think that makes it pretty clear that they plan to have smaller expansions. This makes sense considering the move to adding only 5 levels instead of 10. But considering Cata, If you take out the two new races and all the changes to the old world how much of an expansion do we really get? Adding 5 levels certainly is not a whole lot. It would at least be hard to justify much of a price tag. It is also hard to imagine 5 added levels in perhaps 4 or 5 new zones would take 6 quarters to pull off.
I think we are unlikely to see any more new races added to the game. So I suspect that they plan to add another hero class with each expansion from here on out. That would help make sense of the still somewhat long timeline between releases and would also add enough of a hook to these expansions to justify charging a fee for them which you know they want to do. Hopefully they will cost less than they do now as 5 levels and a class still strikes me as a mini-expansion. But I wont hold my breath on that.

Uh yes. This feature is so big that Blizzard created a category just for this on this chart....

I am highly skeptic about this one, but supposing its true....
WoW Brazil, Titan huh, it have some interesting things in it
But as I said the chances of this being fake are very high
"It has potential"

"It sucks"

Why is this news? Ever hear of a videogame developer hitting a 2-year projected release date on time? I haven't.

Silly Blizzard planning anything out past Dec 21st, 2012.
It is blurry to me, but it looks like a program I use at work for scheduling. Microsoft Project.

Me thinks Titan is the planet where they will go with all their milk.
