I agree with author this guy is 'mad in face'. Seriously, how much free time some people have. lol
Who could have thought that WOW could bring super power like USA to its knees?

To put it in a nutshell, our society is about to hit the fan, grades are dropping, obesity is going up,childhood the USA is going to lose its super power status before too long, but hey, as long as we have a cheap method to babysit our kids, all will be well no? Im picking on WoW btw because its the beast that made all of this possible
I'm 41. I remember those days well. Which is why I'm puzzled people looking at this in the 21st century find this visually appealing. Especially when people bitch and complain about WOW graphics which are far superior.

Nobody looking at this finds it visually appealing. If anyone has said that, they've never played a video game once. It has a nostalgic feel to it, like you're playing a game of old, yet it's new. It's not even a MMO, so I'm not sure why you're making this comparison. People play it for the sandbox gameplay.
And you are correct, gameplay > graphics. If this game does it for you I'm happy you found something you enjoy. I liked APB and a lot of people thought it sucked. To each their own.
From what I have read the randomly generated world in survival mode is not only freaking big, but infinite. The only limit may be your RAM or HD-space. And I´ve only found 4 diamonds yet.

I've heard it will generate world up to three times bigger than the circumference of the Earth. I found quite a few diamonds, but then a creeper proceeded to explode my loot into lava.

Heh, I made an armor full of iron and thought I was quite immortal. Then a water spring pushed me into deep lava. Game was purchased more than 600.000 times and God knows how many cracked versions fly around. Not bad for this kind of graphics.

The one of Rapture is much more impressive, because he didn't have a map editor do it for him.
He who keeps his cool best wins.
That game is so ugly. Damn. I'm glad someone told me what I was supposed to be looking at.
Guess you didn't grow up in the 8-bit days. Game has it's own uniqueness about it... and graphics < gameplay.

Damn, you went all the way and went with a creeper face avatar.
I love the game too. I hope he hires some more developers so we can get more updates.

He's got 4 right now I think. As far as the creeper face... it's just so.. creepy.

I still think the guy who built the 1:1 scale of the Enterprise-D in minecraft is still pretty epic.
