Wizards and Champions Closed Beta 2 Introduction

Making first contact regarding Beta 2 for Wizards and Champions. 85% of the game is complete and we're actively seeking Beta Testers. This is a REAL closed beta, not some free trial cooked up by the marketing department.
Beta 2 will start in a few days. I may have to push back a couple days to get the last dungeons in, but target is still to open Oct 29th (Friday) in the late afternoon.
Wizards and Champions is a really weird design. It is a true Massively Multiplayer game, but also designed to be new player and casual player friendly. Dungeons are available in solo, group and heroic modes. Crafted gear is valuable and as good or better than everything except boss reward gear.
Private Instanced Dungeons? None.
Quest Progression? None. Dungeon objectives are planned, and are repeatable.
Holy Trinity? Yes, but not required. Character can spec as solo or specialist.
Grouping? Yes, but not required. Spec as solo increases soloabilty, and soloable dungeons provided.
PVP? Not much yet, but when flagged PVP is FFA but no player loot.
Pets, Henchmen? Yes, for any class. Rangers, Warlocks and others get specialty pets.

I would love to help test your game, however when I try to go to your forums, I get the big white "Forbidden" page.
Sorry about that. I changed secuurity settings so people could get immediate access, and the software locked out my admin account. *sigh* Gotta love low budget web hosting solutions. I had to whack it and reinstall.
I'll have it back up in an hour.
It looks interesting , i'll sure try it out.
I'll be formally opening the closed beta-2 in a couple days. There was a mess of code that wasn't moved into the new engine and that's slowed things down.
Client is avaialable and linked from the forum. Servers are up and down now because there is no "test realm" for development. Once into beta-2, I'll only be patching once a day or when I can squeek in a patch because nobody is on.
I've got a handful of beta testers working with me at the moment. We're in agreement that progress is being made with my patching twice (or more) per day, so I'm going to stick with this until things are more polished.
Individuals who are interested and would like to help in the testing, drop in on the forum, the client is linked from there.
So for now, the Beta-2 (without daytime patches) is delayed until further notice. Better to push back and have the polish.

This game looks like RealmLords... it's using the same pre-made engine. Realmlords was fun, hope this one opens soon. I miss realmlords.
