steam offer does not work with the buddy program. sorry to say.

Not sure, but when you buy it on this offer with steam it says it cannot be used with an existing account, but for all i know that could just mean it can't be used to add 30 days to an account that's already retail.
They changed it after the last promotion....if you look under the terms and conditions for the buddy program
