I haven't played too many mmos but I have dabbled in WOW and SWG. That being said, I don't understand the complaint I've seen on here about how the storyline is somehow making this character linear. I thought the storyline was basically just a vocal depiction of any quest you could take in say, SWG. The Legacy Quest takes you to different locals and has you do different missions and yes, it eventually ends and you find something else to do. How is the story of the character any different? They said there would be end game content to do. So how does following one big quest really hurt the game? It, to me, seems better because if you choose a different character you get an entirely new quest only available to that profession or whatever.
Is there something about this I am misunderstanding that would make it less appealing?
