Basic Tips for Aika Global

1. Hit the "m" button: This is the map hot key. The map is one of the most essential thing in Aika. It shows the different NPCs indicated as green dots. Available quests are indicated as green exclamation points. Completed quests are indicated as red question marks.

2. Now hit the "l / L" button. This is the quest log hot key. The quests are divided into plot and normal. Plot quests are obviously the ones you need to do to progress with the story line. Normal quests are extra quests which you can do for extra rewards. An important feature here is the location info where you can highlight the quest and then click on the location info tab so you will see where you need to go to do the quest.

3. "i" is the hot key for inventory. You will be able to get more bags later on for more inventory. If you have unnecessary items which you can't sell, drag them to the trash bin.

4. The Pran: Press "p" for Pran hot key. You will see here extra inventory space, her stats, experience, personality and satiety. You can start the quest for getting a Pran once you reach level 7. Just go to Major Rumenigge and follow the quest chain. Once you are done, you will receive a fairy pran of the element of your choice. You can evolve it to a kid pran when she reaches level 5. Satiety is like hunger. It slowly decreases as time passes. Do not let it reach 0% or she will return to the pran station and it will be hard to regain her trust. To prevent this from happening, buy food from merchants and feed her. Another important aspect is her personality. Every once in a while, your pran will ask for a chat. Your Pran's personality when it evolves to teenager will be determined by your responses.

5. Your weapon and armor: The basic thing that you need to remember about your equipments is that they have durability (except the accessories like rings and necklaces). As such, always repair your equipments from blacksmiths, the anvil, or some chosen NPCs. Equipments are also divided into ranks F, E, D, C... and so on. You can upgrade your weapon using hira of the same rank. Upgrading is a matter of luck, although you can usually upgrade your weapon safely to +5. On the other hand, you need Kaize for armors. If you want to upgrade your equipments, go to Grissom in the upper right corner of Regenshein. Another thing about armors, weapons and accessories is that you can give it special attributes using items called "vaizan." Vaizans have different ranks as well like lower, intermediate, etc. You can give items up to three attributes and these are usually random. Take note that you can neither upgrade nor enchant equipments which cannot be traded. These are usually the ones you get from quests.
