anybody remember Darkfall's release. it was missing a lot of features that were listed on the site.
warhammer was missing the major cities
Skill cap, player-skill being the primary factor when determining the outcome for a fight, and wandering mobs were the most common things that trolls flame about on forumfall claiming that it was promised before it was released but that was not entirely true. Player-skill is the primary factor a lot more now than it was back then but you would have to be a pretty bad player to be a year into the game and lose to someone who just started but I have seen it happen quite a bit so it is not impossible because some just play for the PVE or crafting. Oh I also remember reading about how there would be pickpocketing and thieves guilds that still do not exist (unless player made guild).
I followed Darkfall since 2002 but not very closely so I am probably off a bit but I do hear people whining about those things the most. Oh . .. and FFA PVP with consequences but their consequences arent a big deal at all unless you were messing with the wrong person.
Most people left because either the consequences for killing other players for no reason was not harsh enough or because there was no skill cap and a big grind so catching up to macroers/hardcore players would have taken a long time.

I can think of 3 from AoC:
Missing PvP level system
Not DX10
No Drunken Brawling
Hell hath no fury like an MMORPG player scorned.
Ranger revamp SWG is the one that comes to mind
Alot of stuff in Vanguard
*oops missed the release part*
