You'll always have uninformed people or people too lazy too look further calling other MMO's 'WoW clones'.
Nothing that can be done about that, I'm afraid.
Still, for those interested it's good to have a lot of the information at hand, to learn more about the game. So good job, Khalathwyr

I have to admit that this game seems pretty interesting.
NIce post Khalathwyr. This makes it so much easier to direct people who don't know about Rift yet. I can just send them here to get a handle on what the game is all about.

Good deal. Updated with links to to sites that I didn't have. Looks like Telara Times is indeed gone. I'll check one last time on Monday and then remove it. Weird though as I thought I saw Sornin around on the official forums so I don't think he lost interest. Must just not have the time anymore.

I meant to add it. Sorry about that. I blame it on being 3:40 in the morning and having been up almost 24 hours and just coming home from table-top RPG gaming for 6 hours. Then trying to multi-task forum hopping plus my guild responsibilities, lol!

Thanks for posting this. I have a couple friends that are following this game closely, and to be honest I couldn't figure out why. I guess I hadn't seen anything about it that was much different from anything out there. I'll check out the links and see what the buzz is about I guess.

Excellent job, and glad it's stickied. Myself, I've been listening through the podcasts, which is on the list. Nice relaxing way of listening and surfing simultaneously.
I'm interested in this title, and the more I listen to and read about, I think this game, with it's breadth and depth of player-involved pvevp cooperative and competitive game-play and warzones, might just put a stop in my "crap in the last 5-years" mentality and commenting.

Not that I have seen as of today. I'd expect the normal $14.99/month like normal ttraditional MMOs since they are going after making a traditional MMO. Hopefully their will be a package deal as I'm kind of interested in End of Nations and may want to give their game that's tied to the upcoming SyFy television show a go as well.
But again no, as of right now no concrete subscription information.
