25yo veteran mmorpg'r, I've played most of the games on this site but never WoW. I am looking to join a guild or join someone who wants to start a character with me and level to end game. I can play any class and enjoy playing all classes so I am open to any combinations or whatever class a guild is short on. Obviously I will have tons of questions but I catch on pretty quick. If you would like to take this WoW noob under your wing PST! I play games fairly often 10+ hours a day (Im not a nerd but I have an awesome job where I can play at work.

I would join you if you bought me a month of WoW time lol, but anyway I just wanted to recommend the druid class, because I think it's the most fun and you can be a very competent healer, tank, or DPS end game, even all three at once if you prefer. The only downside is if you want to go in multiple directions you need a lot of space for all the gear. If you have played other MMOs this one is very, very easy to get used to.

I am actively playing WoW and am leveling alts all the time. If you're going to play on the EU servers just let me know I might wanna start there although I am currently playing on Neptulon.
I would recommend a druid as well. It can do all four things and actually manages to be more fun than the so called 'specialised' versions.
WoW is a good game, and you have a good thing with starting at this point in time. You will have enough time to level at least one character to max and have some time to get the hang of it well... i guess... before more or less everything changes in the game. The big key is you should have a character at the max level before cataclysm comes out. The end game has pretty much gotten to a wall until the new expansion comes out and its gonna be hard to catch backup item wise unless you get into a guild that will help you along the way.
I have spent plenty of time in WoW since beta but I have hung up my account until at least SW:TOR either succeeds for me or fails horribly. Its a great game with a ton of people.... a good deal of them nice and helpful too.

Well I am part of a small guild that generally plays in the afternoon (US Hours).. From around 5pm CST to Midnight+ just about every day. While we don't have many lower level players, We are always looking to bring a few more people into the fold. We do require Ventrilo usage though as it's needed for some of the more end game encounters.
We play Alliance on the Dawnbringer server.

If you are still looking for someone to run with, create you a horde toon on Scarlet Crusade (horde) and send me a PM with your toons name and I will run with you and show you the ropes. I play at the following times:
Sunday thru Thursday - 7pm to 11pm EST
Friday - 7pm to 4am EST
Saturday - pretty much all day
Since you have waited this long I'd recommend you wait a bit longer until Cataclysm comes out. The game is going to change quite a bit when it does. So you would most likely have to start all over again.

Hey, we have a guild on Mug'thol with about 10 or so people that play, most people are just leveling alts in preperation for cataclysm though a couple of the guys are kingslayers (cleared endgame).
We all play everyday, though a few of us work retail so our days and hours are quite random, but we have our own ventrilo server and we're always on chatting when we're playing and it would also be a good place to ask questions.
Almost all of us have played every class at 80 in a raid setting, and we are *very* critical people, we may play casually now, but our attitudes are no where near that, so in a teaching realm you would learn the right thing first and foremost.

WoW community may not welcome a Jedi so good luck. IF you do get in roll a Shaman, they are all classes in one except Death Knights LMAO....
