Myself and my better half just recently (about a month ago now already) re-up'd our subscription to CoH. Quite honestly, we would have never left had it not been for a bout of unemployment back starting in Feb. of 2004, and re-employment in June of 2004. Problem was, the new job meant a relocation for me while the family stayed behind to sell the house. Couldn't in good faith take my PC with me, and the laptop from work isn't capable of running CoH. So cancelled the subscription until we relocated and settled in.
Problem is...everything settled down right around October-time, with EQ2 and WoW right around the corner. Soo...decided rather than getting back into CoH then, would give one of those a try (choose EQ2). Did that for a few months, until I came to my senses and realized it was just another grind, and started having that "jeez...do I HAVE to log on?" feeling.
Since restarting (and I do mean restarted...nuked all our toons), never been happier. The new content since we left is refreshing, and the gameplay is just as much fun as when we left. With the Arena and CoV down the road...nothing but goodness to be had.
Wow, I can't believe I've been playing this game for over a year now, nonstop. My CoH forum handle started in 04/02/04 but I've been playing before that during the beta.
to more fun and excitement.
your arguement is so persuasive, so filled with knowledge and insight. You back up your argument very articulately, with suggestions of improvements and raising examples to glorify your position....oh wait, you didn't
This game was a little boring to me after a while. But i think it is gonna be a lot better after CoV comes out thats when i will be back, or for the battle arena whenever that comes out.
I actually cancelled back in September of last year and re-activated my account last week. Much to my surprise., even after 7+ months, all of my characters still existed. So, if any of you are on the Infinity Server, look me up..
