Basic Storyline (Lore)

image

As the nations of Earth descended into chaos and conflict, this secret organization seized the opportunity to achieve their goals. While their armies moved in to establish order, the group's leaders spoke to the world of a regime beyond petty national disputes, one capable of bringing about a lasting peace. The remaining governments, driven by the anguish of their people, soon ceded control of their financial systems and military forces.

The Order of Nations was born.

At first, the people of the world welcomed its arrival. The Order delivered food and basic services to shattered communities, and brought an end to the violence and fear that had driven civilization to the edge. But once the crisis had passed, The Order tightened its grip on power, installing a totalitarian regime whose sole purpose was to remain at the apex of Earth's power structure. The Order of Nations' leaders were now in a position to decide where resources would be allocated, which cultural trends would be tolerated, even who would be fed and who wouldn't.

The Order quieted dissenting voices by reminding the citizens of the horrors of the worldwide economic collapse, while moving quietly, but forcefully, to eliminate its critics. Dissidents disappeared in the dead of night. Citizens were disarmed. Worldwide communications were curtailed, and what remained was both heavily censored and monitored. Travel privileges were restricted, and the assembly of large groups of citizens became a crime punishable by death.

The people of the world emerged from the worst humanitarian catastrophe since the Dark Ages to find themselves slaves to those who had been their saviors. The Order's relentless grip on power planted the seeds of global rebellion and a worldwide challenge to their authority.

Will gender have any affect on stats/skills? :

  • Unknown (as i write this i don't even know if there are genders i presume so though).

List of skills/video :

  • To be edited in

PvP

  • There will be open warzones where players can fight eachother

  • These warzones will be cappable by one one of two sides. Each point in these warzones have a flag which indicates where you can cap them.

  • There will be a bonus for the side which obtains most of the capture points (specifics aren't known)

PvE

  • There will be giant persistant open zones (eq2 style, where after the cap is reached a new instance of that zone will be opened) that can hold around 50 players each

  • Solo game is possible (however you will NOT be able to do everything solo) as is grouping.

  • Raids, this is an rts game where you can actually raid (yay). These raids come in the shape of giant forts which produce units to defend.

Items, Armors, Tradeskills

Tradeskills, professions & crafting :

  • Players gather raw materials through combat looting, missions, storefronts and from other Commanders.

  • These raw materials can in turn be used to craft consumables and equipment

  • The manufactured items and units can be sold on the global market (broker) or be used for your own army

RTS

  • This game will slightly deviate from the standard "old school" RTS in the fact that you do not build a base everytime you start a map. These bases however ARE build elsewhere (and no i do not know how this is done yet, if its instanced or somewhere in an open zone).

  • On the mission maps you start with a number of units you bought with "unit points". Each unit is worth XX points and you can buy a number of them till you reach that cap (how they regen / if they regen / if its like a population cap is unknown at the moment)

In the decades leading up to the global crisis, a secret group of power brokers worked behind the scenes of the world's largest economies to create a shadow government. Money and resources were siphoned off to fund research into incredibly advanced weapon systems, and to establish a secret army dedicated to the creation of a one-world order.

How many units can a player have?

  • AlyvianAlyvian Member Posts: 342

wasnt announced yet but, what we do know is this:

you got a certain ammount of "points" to spend which varry on each map, and units cost an X ammount of points so theory at this point only sais that the limit is the amount of points ya got to spend and which units you buy. Videos are indicating 6-15  units though.
