Congradulations, your done! I actually couldn't find the download for the game so if anyone know's the link, go right ahead and post it so everyone can download it. This game came out in early January 2005. It should be out by now and available to download.

The second picture in the registration guide is from Yochkungz and the rest are by me. Thanks to Yochkungz for the writing part!

Have fun!

DUUUUDE I LOVE YOU! Finally im so excited to start this game. I recently stopped ROSE, Ragnarok, and Tantra, which i LOVED, expecially ROSE because of the optimistic graphics that presented a happy, joyful mood. Anyway, Holy Beast seems to present a delightful mood as well and im reeeeaaalllly excited. Thanks man! ::::01::::::02::::::31::::::31::::::31::::::31::::::31::

EDIT: wait nvm i just read your post and read about purchasing it xD lol. Well least you got me excited for a bit.

EDIT #2: wow im making a bad first impression ::::06::. lol it doesnt mention purchasing anything lol... sorry ill give it a try ::::39::

EDIT #3: Ok this ones bout registering. Im at the first link. Im not sure exactly what to fill out. I had the site translated and filled out the Account Number with 6 numerals, the password and confirm password, my 10-digit password, and my e-mail. The non-optional info i filled out except for the last space. BUT after clicked the button on the bottom, I get a weird error with "?"'s and a few letters. Any suggestions?

EDIT #4: Nevermind, I figured it out with the second link thanks!

Ok twinkie, do this, go to www.worldlingo.com and look on the right for "Online Web Translator". Select that and go to the website tab and type in the Registration URL. Then select Chinese(Trad) to English. That should help you figure things out. OR you can check out the second link Midnight posted. It has what you need to type in to each space. For the phone number, copy his format. It worked for me. But, im also looknig for a download. Hope that helps! ::::31::::::31::::::31::::::31::

I dont see how people can have alot of fun playing a game they can't really understand. Sure it might look ok? But... umm... nevermind, guess thats all some people need.

  • ShingenShingen Member Posts: 40

yea lol. the gameplay is the main factor of the game. if you can grasp the concept of a game, whether it be killing, or any other aspect like crafting and skill systems, then the game is fun for you or not, regardless of the language its being presented in. but your right, language plays a role in these types of games. when a game involves interaction for bartering or trading items, without knowing the native language of the players, it limits gameplay. then again, in the games ive played that arent american made, or their main language isnt english, most players can speak some english, or enough to at least complete a transaction in-game. english is a universal language and if you look on the Holy Beast On line site, you can see traces of english, such as "profile", or "e-mail". most likely the players can interact and enjoy the game together.

Well like I played Ragnorak for 5 minutes, but the tutorial was just so badly translated that it killed immersion for me. I imagine I'd be the same way with this, so I doubt I'll even bother going through the trouble.

  • ShingenShingen Member Posts: 40

Yea i know what your saying. If the NPC's cant even be understood, then how would one complete quests or missions. Thats a good point, but I'm sure after the game is released, there will be tons of people all over the net helping each other out and figuring out what steps to take, when eventually you yourself understand the game. If one's not willing to try to understand it, then your right not to bother because then it's just a waste of your time. I probably would feel the same way if the game was unappealing, but the graphics are so me. It depends on how far you'll go to play a game.

  • PasomattPasomatt Member Posts: 221

yeah I like the graphics, its kind of a shame they can't spend like 20 bucks on some american kid (like me for example!) and just let them go through the game fixing up the grammar and stuff.

  • ShingenShingen Member Posts: 40

xD yea they really should let them. Or maybe we'd have to pay them if they purposely dont have an English patch so we wouldn't be able to play ::::04::. Well either way, lets hope when we get on its not like the website with those crazy text characters. ::::31::::::31::::::31::::::31::

it looks like they did the anime look real well without making it look 2d or cheaply done. In the screenshots in the little message box it is in english so no doubt they have a good bit of it already translated, they just need an english site. Here is a very informative english article on it you should look into if you are interested in the game. here is the actual screenshot gallery.

Make of it what you will.
