Game companies can't win for losing....

I noticed that a few people are complaining about SOEs free EQII trial. The FREE trial is just that. A free trial that does not require you to register any billing info or to pay for the client. It is only meant to let you have a taste of the game. It is not meant to let you fully test the game as some have complained about. If you want to fully test the game then you register and you get 30 days to play the entire game free. If you cancel before the 30 days is up then you are not charged anything.

It's just me, so open the door.

Most idiotic line of thinking I've ever seen. The free trial SHOULD be judged by those playing it because as a trial it gives us an idea of how the game works, the graphics, performance, etc (all of which are insanely subpar in EQII's case).

The whole "You pay 50 dollars for the game and get 30 days free to test it!" is utter garbage and I'm sick of the argument. You still paid 50 dollars, and if you only get 30 days of a crappy game for 50 bucks and don't renew, you were still basiaclly robbed of 50 dollars. Any other non-mmo game has more replayability past 30 days, why should an mmo be exempt? Start holding the mmo's to the same quality of product as you do anything else.

    urgh

1-Anyone who complains about a free trial like this one for EQ2 is an obvious moron end of.

2-HOW THE HELL IS IT A 30 DAY FREE TRIAL when you have to pay (you know spend money) to get it, this makes it NOT free. So Kasmar tell me please when do you get 30 days to fully test the game free....oh you dont because before that you have actually got to spend money on the game to get those 30 days. I fail to see how anyone can think like this, i cant even comprehend the stupidity.
