Since Blizzard Entertainment launched World of Warcraft in 2004, it has become the one of most mighty game company no matter in unfailing popularity, or lucrative market return. With the development of World of Warcraft, it has not only complete story background and large system, but its settings have been accepted and praised by global players. World of Warcraft can be rated as an epic MMORPG.

In the basis of unprecedented successful achieved by World of Warcraft, Blizzard Entertainment released StarCraft II Beta Testing this year. As the sequel of StarCraft, StarCraft II is developed in the background of three races among Terran, Protoss and Zerg. Through global battle net, it has provided online game mode for players so as to continue resplendence of classical RTS games ---StarCraft Series.

Actually, StarCraft II has achieved prospective successful. On Feb.2010, global fans were all crazy for StarCraft II Beta Testing, and CD-KEY was unceasingly pushed at a high price. Countless fans eagerly expected game would be put on sale immediately. It can be said Blizzard Entertainment deserved to be the founder of classical game.

However, all of these are just achievements by Blizzard Entertainment in large online game and multiplayer game. Nowadays, more and more excellent web games have emerged, so will Blizzard Entertainment march web game market?

It was once reported that Blizzard Entertainment had issue a simple web game on Children’s day. Player can start the game just opening website without registration. At one time, some players conjectured this game is the signal for Blizzard Entertainment making web game. But after that, there are no more inclinations for Blizzard Entertainment to make web game. Recently, we found a web game, called World of Lordcraft, whose name is almost the same as World of Warcraft by Blizzard. And it seemed that its theme is also similar with Blizzard’s. Even the system of game is almost the combination of Blizzard’s World of Warcraft and Ubisoft’s Heroes of Might and Magic.

Due to World of Lordcraft, just for inside testing, the republication of World of Warcarft, many players think Blizzard Entertainment will explore web game market again, but careful players will take notice that the developer and maker on official site is not Blizzard Entertainment, but Thunderstorm Entertainment, Inc.

And then, we will wonder, what is the relation between Blizzard and Thunderstorm? Supposing World of Lordcraft is subordinated of Blizzard Entertainment, does it mean that Blizzard has marched web game market with no words?
