Cosy, you looking for a new home under a bridge or something?
CCP stated that they will not be selling skillpoints , if you want bought skill points you'd have to buy a character (and you'd better know what you are doing with it or the odds are you'll need expensive clones).
But they do seem to like the idea of removing the learning skills and bumping attributes up so new players aren't confronted with a month of learning skills.
Yeah this is for real, CCP is going to start selling Skill Points because they think that people paying subscriptions for a good game is stupid.
I also heard from an authentic source that when Station Walking comes out, it will involve simulated Wii-Bowling-style mini games in the cantinas, lightsaber jousting on the chocobo mounts, and that they are going to reveal the physiology of the Sleeper race in the Wormholes.
They will look like this:
And the rumor wheel keeps on a turning!
Currently playing: LOTRO, Guild Wars 2. Have played: EVE Online; Champions Online; Age of Conan; City of Heroes/Villains; Star Wars Galaxies (pre-CU, pre-NGE); World of Warcraft (Vanilla to Cataclysm); Hellgate: London; Warhammer Online; Lord of the Rings Online; Vanguard: Saga of Heroes; Star Wars: The Old Republic Wishlist: Mass Effect Online
I agree with some of the other players on this being a great idea.
They should sell SP for real money.
Course, those I agree with have been looking at something like this:
$1-2 per SP....
...the stupidity that arises because of CCP trying to be nice about the xDT.
you do realize that $1-2 per sp is roughly $1-2million dollars for $1-2million skillpoints? lol...
Yes, I do realize that I stated $1-2 per SP and that would work out to $1-2 million for 1-2 million SP. It is a figure that I saw and agreed with as a fair price for such an idiotic suggestion as CCP selling SP.
I miss the MMORPG genre. Will a developer ever make one again?

I think he meant "per skill-raise" instead of "per skillpoint".
At least, the other version does indeed make no sense.
They are already doing that.
I'm so broke. I can't even pay attention.
