The Burning Horde is an Orc Tribe, based upon the Mourning lore. We have our roots set in Shadowbane, as Ordo Castum Carnifex, a Temple Lore guild on the corruption server. We are a light-rp group, typically only mandating members play 'in char' when communicating in open channels...and of course through their actions...namely the purging of our enemies.

Our plan is to adhere to the Mourning lore, playing an evil-faction orc tribe. At this point, we plan to only allow Orc membership. If the devs release new races that would be permissable within the framework of the game's lore, we may allow those at some point in the future.

Our goal in Mourning is a simple one:

Break, Smash, Bash, Loot, Pillage and Burn all that is un-Orc, which I hope is jsut about anything not related directly to us We are very PvP oriented and will be playing the role of...well, orcs...which are by definition, angry, violent, and prone to ripping/hacking off other folks's limbs.

Because we plan on only allowing orcs, no doubt, our road will be a tough one...as there is yet to be seen if there is any real advantage to being ethnocentric...most likely there is only disadvantage (and the accompanying challenge) to be had.

This is evident by the pre-programmed factional settings...at least pre-release. Dorfs and Humans are allied, and listed as enemies. Elves aren't listed as enemies, but are defined as being 'proud and honorably'...so no doubt goody-goodies that would not be too fond of us. We will have very few friends, no doubt. But then again, we don't view that as a bad thing, we don't plan on playing to win the hand holding competition.

We play to fight, because we like fighting and our primary goal is to have fun...if you're not having fun, why play?

If this style of play sounds like something you're interested in...

1. Be an Orc.

2. No 'Dood' Names...what is a dood name? It's pretty much discretionary. If you're unsure, ask

3. Register on the Forums, and POST an introduction...basically, stating who you are, why you want to join, etc.

4. Contact us in game; once you register on the forums, and post your greeting, we'll get you added into the tribe. There will be a period of evaluation...usually for a week or two...where you can decide if we're a fit for you, and vice versa. If we both concur that this is someplace you'd like to stay, you'll be given member access to the forums.

This guild would be the first Zerg guild in Mouring. I am sorry for anyone who wants to play with them.

    *chuckles* well, it was inevitable.

We will keep that in mind, thanks for the honesty, at least we know what you think of us.
