Are there any MMO's out there that are similar to Risk? (you know the world domination game)

I don't even know how it would work, but I was just curious if anyone had played something similar.

    You can play games like Rome Total War online.  I believe you can do this with all the Total War series of games, it's sorta like RISK in away I guess.

    You can play games like Rome Total War online.  I believe you can do this with all the Total War series of games, it's sorta like RISK in away I guess.

    Yeah Rome Total War is very fun.

     

    Darkfall is a world domination game as well. But unlike Risk, it is an MMORPG where players build cities and hamlets that can be conquored by other players so although there is world domination, there will always be hundreds of other players to battle for it. Pretty fun game but very time consuming and something that is meant to be played for a year or more. Also, political decisions are made by clan leaders that collaborate and negotiate with other clan leaders so it is not like Risk where there are only 6-12 players . .. there can be up to 10k players in each server (there are 2 servers). A pretty small percentage of the population really get involved in the whole conflicts . .. many just have their personal goals of developing their characters, getting better loot, and having fun in the FFA PVP full-loot environment.

     

    There are many other games that have conflicts between major powers. Global Agenda and Face of Mankind also have stuff to fight over but again it is far from risk.
