Crafted flight

This skill is an epic wasted of resources and time!  If you haven't started yet, just don't bother until they reduce the amount of resources that are required!

I was willing to bust it out to get a free travel power in an attempt to save a skill point, and I can say that is was VERY rough, and the market is horribly inflated for those items.

As a system, I think crafted skills are great, but implemented like this, it is totally useless as end-game content.

    Not to disagree with the OP because the crafted travel powers require an ENORMOUS amount of time, resource farming, and crafting, but it will NOT save you a skill point.


     


    CO uses dedicated skill points that can only be spent on a specific category.  So the 2 travel power points you receive can only be used to purchase travel powers.  Primarily they allow you to pick up a flight ability if you want to use your 2 given travel powers for theme, say swinging (like Spiderman) and acrobatics. 


     


    The crafted powers have unique FX so they could also be used to match your concept. The Mysticism and Science crafted are both flight, Mysticism has a glow and a few swirling light with trails and Science has a lightning/electrical arc effect between the hands and feet.  The Arms crafted power allows you to curl up in a ball and go spinning down the landscape like a spandex clad Sonic the hedgehog.
