So...How is the game?

I've applied for my Beta as of last night, waiting for confirmation. Can't wait to get in and rumble with some giant robots while testing the initial conception of the game.

 

For those of you already experienced, what do you think so far? I already understand that the game currently has similarities with Eve, so please don't bash it with that particular club. What are the gameplay modes like? Customization level? Overall impression thus far? Hopefully I will have the opporunity to form my own soon.

    Hey Ishiwadede,

    Not sure what you been by game play modes. PVP and PVE?

    Customization levels are very good in the game when it comes to customizing bot/mech builds or fits.

    So, far I have to say the game has a solid client for being in CB and very fun to play.

    The core elements are there for player to build there own culture and communities in or out of game.

    I love bots and mechs and being an ex EVE player, the GUI and basic concept of the game was not to new to me. With that said there are plenty of things that are not like EVE which put me at ease and made me ready to settle in for the long haul.

    Population is low in game because of closed beta. Can't wait to see more population in game and watch it grow.

     I'd say it's low rather due to the game. Don't expect much population once it hits live.

    Could I ask why you think that?

     

    Population in CB is low really do to the developers being VERY selective and getting players that will really test the game.

     funniest thing ive read yet today. theres loads of people waiting for 2 things:

    1) an EVE like game, that doesnt take place in a ship in space

    2) a decent Mech MMO

    Theyre just very selective & slow at letting people into the CB, plenty i know of have applied, but very few gotten in. You cant use low pop in a CB like this as a basis for what the numbers will be when it launches since you have no clue how many thousands have applied to the CB and have been waiting months to get in.
