Hello!
Recently, if you've noticed, in the LFG forum, theres been a lot of threads about starting a group, to play a game, untill new releases, since people are bored. We intend to make that a real.
We started a google-group. We then made a poll when we have 14 people, and saw what people wanted to play. The choice went on VG.
To simplify it, we will start a guild in-game when we're more or less settled. Untill then communication is through the google-group.
If you're interested in joining our new group in Vanguard, simply join the google-group, get VG trial or full game, and join us!

Group is looking solid, anyone who wants a chance for quality grouping that is skipped in most MMOs should really check out this group!

I may be interested in tagging along with you guys if you get a guild going. One point that I would like to bring up is are the people you've gotten so far going to be playing on a similar schedule? I ask this as it seems there are some Europeans and U.S. players so how extactly would grouping work if there is a 5-8 hour time difference? I'm on east coast time in the U. S. and say on a weeknight I'm on from like 8-10 pm my time and that's 1 am Euro time so I doubt there would be much in the way of grouping going on during the week which is actually ok as in my case at least weeknights I am only on for like 2 hours or less anyway and I don't mind soloing even most of time it's what I'm used to as long as I could get in on some grouping on the weekend I still would like to give it a shot as I would like to be able to see vanguard's content while it's still available as i doubt we'll see another game like it again based on the ways that mmo's in general are going nowadays.
So if you get something going please either post here or pm me what server and your character and or guild names and I'll renew my sub and see what happens. I got 2 characters on xeth off the iod but I got no trouble rolling on another server and starting from scratch also if you lack a certain type of character let me know as I'm somewhat flexible in what I'll play.
I'm not playing before tommorow due to new SSD coming (Re-install of W7)
- Yes, we're a mix of US/EU. But I guess, since w'ere alredy 20 members, that there will be enough online at all times to play..
And if we're going to make some instances later that requires more players at same time, we will figure something that fits everyone (since some can play at night etc)

We need 6 subscripers in a city to make a guild.. Unfortunately, so we can't make one right now. All I can join up google-group and see what will go on

We have a lot of tanks I hear, so might roll a DPS/Healer if you dont mind (ill go healer i think my self)
By the way, we play on Seradon.
I just came back to vanguard a couple of days ago. Who do I contact to join the guild?
I believe he wants you to sign up for the google group.

Unfortunately after trying out VG for some time, the majority decided NOT to play this game. We will be trialing other games tho.

Well, EQ 2 seems pretty new player friendly. Unless you meant EQ in your post.

Is it user friendly? I just thought it was - rush to endgame get gear and pwn. I dont hope it is!
OH sorry, when I see new player friendly I'm thinking "easy to learn".
As opposed to Eve which has a harder learning curve.
ummmm... I can't say regarding the "rush to end game" as I think that is a player contrivance. I've played EQ 2 on and off since it was released and though I don't have a high player at all, I have enjoyed myself. I think my highest charcter might have broken 40 if that.
So "I'"personally didn't feel the need to rush. But it depends on your group.
There is certainly a palpable difference between the world of EQ 2 and Vanguard though.

Oh well I figured it wouldn't work out trying to organize a bunch of people from all over the place to agree on one game is probably pretty futile in the end. I guess I might have better luck just playing the game and hoping to hook up with some already in it then going with an external group. It seemed most who signed up for it were a bit too hardcore for my playstyle and I can see why a game like vanguard would not appeal them.
