I tried this game ages ago, and uninstalled it a few secs later because it was click to move... Is it still the same?

yep its the same, i couldnt even imagine it else than click to move
ahh, I just can't do it.
It just gets monotonous constantly clicking.

its just not my preferred style of play. Its the same reason i don't like FPS's... click, click, click... grates on my nerves.

You uninstalled instead of Googling "Lineage 2 WASD". I just did and found this on the official new player help guide
"If you prefer using the WASD keys to move, press Alt+X to open the System menu. Choose Options, and in the Game tab, click “Enter Chat”. Click OK to save your choice. The WASD keys will now move your character, and you must press the Enter key to enter text for chatting."
Next time, read the manual.

Good tips but the L2 engine is very buggy with that WASD movement. And from what I heard about Linage 3 is that TERA stole their code, but It can ofc be just a rumor. I think what the OP of this thread wants is movement like World of Warcraft or Age of Conan since atleast they got a more polished WASD movement.
I myself like WASD the best just like OP since you got 100 % controll of your avatar, because all you have to do is click while too much zoomed out and you will click a tree or a wall and run the opposite way then you where plannning. Too bad L2 is one of the biggest grind game next to FFXI, and to repetative for my taste.
WASD wasn't perfect in L2, but I didn't think it was so bad it was unusable.
True if you dont wanna change game and still wanna use the WASD its an option. But its really anoying when you have skills like backstab and have a click to walk engine because you far from have 100 % control of you avatar.
Hmm.. I don't see an "enter chat" option in games?
What is so wrong with Click to Move? I don't get it. Once you get used to it, it is fine.. - Quiting the game after a couple of minutes because you can't stand to click to move is idiotic. Try it out, see how you like it, and then decide. For l2, I don't see how it can be WASD. Another point is the year the game came out. During that time most MMO's were click to move, most notably Shadowbane.
I've played many MMO's including WOW, Shadowbane, L2, UO.. etc, and I honestly don't mind them both. If i HAD to chose between WASD and Click to Move, I would choose click to move for sandbox'd type games and WASD for linear progression, instanced MMO models. It just depends on what type of MMO it is.
