CD Burning Problem

It's a pretty simple and stupid question.

I have two burning programs and both of them will not read .avi files. Only mpg and stuff like that. What do I have to download so they can read it?

    I used to use nero for that, but when I got another optical drive that came with nero, it screwed the registration on the first

    roxio works fine for me.

    I've never used burning software for burning CD's, windows explorer works fine for me, and recognizes everything. Then I just use WMP for audio CD's

    I love roxio. When I installed my 180 gig HDD, I used its data retriever app to burn a 20 gig music drive onto 5 DVDs. I love that program.

    Roxio sounds like it's just for dvd's but i'll give that a shot.

    Edit: I forgot to mention, i'm trying to copy it onto a regular cd-r in VCD format. I don't have a dvd burner.

    Actually ROXIO just started catering to DVD programs. Still is one of the best programs out there for burning.

    Actually i think Alcohol 120% is best for these kinda jobs
    And Kiamade WWII online sucks i click ur link to try it and wow its boring

    The only thing alcohol is good for is creating virtual drives to run ISO, BINs, and IMGs.


    Also, did you really stop playing the game after only its second free trial day? That is lame. Pretty funny how you judged the game when you were only a private.::::18::

    i am not judging it i am just saying its overrated and not as good as other free online game (free to play)
    Like Call of duty which is a master piece ::::08::

    All i am saying is that in my opinion it is a better game i do admire the fact that IN WWII its like a real battle field with advansments and everything that happenes in a real war
    While in CoD:UO its just a repetition but in my opinion its better

    I used NeroVision express 3 and it works. It converts the file at the same time that it burns it.

    Also, Call of Duty isn't anything like WWII online. So neither are better than each other.

    I see.  I think you're going to need to convert your .AVI into an MPEG file first (you can get a converter here: http://www.flydragonsoft.com/avi-mpeg-converter.htm ).  Once that's done, then Nero or Roxio should be able to create your VCD for you.
