Hard time deciding b/t Aion & EQ2

My bf & I have played both, but haven't played either in a while and can't decide which to go back to. Any opinions? Or even recs for other newer MMORPG games?

Also, iss there still a lot of heavy grinding in Aion, or did they implement any more quests or higher XP gain from quests? I don't mind leveling slowly, but I don't want to just kill stuff over & over. Monotonous.

     i would not say Aion has a grind after playing Lineage 2 for five years.  Aion is increasing xp/quest gains and introducing new skills/combos.  

    Me, personally, went back to Age of Conan and have no complaints.  They really have improved upon it quit a bit and I have no interest in returning to Aion anytime soon.

    if its a toss between aion and eq2 ,and you are woried about grind then i would say eq2 for sure

     There's still quite a grind in Aion after lvl 25.  So based on that i would say go with EQ2 if your wanting something without the mindless grind.

    Jumped on the band wagon, bought the CE Aion @ release, played, canceled acct....   As of this moment though, I am reinstalling EQ2.

    setting up for aion is just simpler!and its more popular!but im playing eq2 lol!
