Hey guys!
I got AOC when it first came out played for a month and stopped(lvl34) cause if all the problems it had. When AION came out got it too but stopped(lvl23) it cause i had exams and lots of things.
Now I really wonna go back to one of them and keep playing even if that means couple of hours per day only, and much more on weekends.
I heard AOC was improved a lot. Also AION for ME didnt have problems so I can only guess it got improved too.
So which one do u think would be best to go back? I think my AOC character got deleted if i remember from an email. But i think my AION sorcer is ok. Anyway give me your thoughts why should i go back to one of them.
Thanks!!!

There's another thread with the same topic on this page so check that out for some replies. I personally would go with aion and then maybe switch to AOC when the expansion for it comes out.
I would go with Age of Conan. I have and haven't regretted it since I've came back to the game. Really enjoy it now.
i havent played AoC since about 2 months after launch, but jump back in with the "free return for x time" every now and again.
as for aion, if you like endless grinding for levels, gear, etc, etc. thats for you. i bought the CE pre-order for it and was excited. started playing, got to lvl 34 or so and realized i have to grind my way to 50 on boring mobs. decided that was enough for me and stopped playing. the pvp was fun for the first few weeks, then you realize all it is is gank squads running around in abyss. just wasnt my cup of tea.
they are 2 very different games.
AoC it's brutal reality middle ages sort of feel with very little fantasy wile Aion it's an fantastic acid trip with flying combat and cartoon like charcters.
AoC is very instanced wile Aion it's very linear.
AoC has difficult combat with a steep learnign courve wile Aion it's easy as 1 2 3.
AoC has a normal levelling wile Aion is very slow with lots of grinding.
AoC has PVE and PVP wile Aion has them always together.
they both have huge lag when doing large scale pvp. they both lack end level content, even though AoC has added quite a bit of stuff as of late.
the list goes on.
I have played both games in AoC I got 3 lvl 80s and in Aion I am currently playing a lvl 50 cleric. I would recommend Aion. It is only a grind as described above if you are focused solely on getting to the next lvl. If you take the time to enjoy the content available and vary your experience rather than maximizing your xp gained you will have a great time. The game is new, but there are 2 planned content patches coming for this year. Obviously game taste varies and this is just my opinion. Since you have both already you have the opportunity to experience at least a month of each free of charge and would recommend doing that. Also if you're interested I play on Triniel server Asmodian side. This is an east coast server, you should choose server based on your location because Fortresses in the Abyss go vulnerable at prime times in the server's time zone. The server is pretty well populated and there is good back and forth in pvp, with Asmos tending to come out on top. My character's name is Nephandys, feel free to hit me up if you need help or have any questions. If you prefer a West Coast Server I would recommend Siel and rolling Elyos instead. And if you start playing today there is double xp until tomorrow (Mon) morning at 8am.
