Playing STO in an Internet Cafe?

Hey all, I've got a problem here I'm hoping some of you who are more learned can help me with.
I've never played an MMO before, but I'd like to get started with STO, only problem is my computer sucks and can't run it. Eventually of course I'm going to upgrade, but I'm dying to at least get a taste of this game.
So I'm wondering if I were to buy one of those Del Taco codes off ebay or something would I be able to play for the 2 days it gives me? Or do I need to have my own Game key to attach to my account first? The Internet Cafe informs me they have a copy of the game but I don't imagine they'd just give me their Game key to use.

Hmm you would need an account with active gametime. Not sure about those taco thingies, but you can make an account only with an buddy key for example.
