I'm happy with DF. Still want game to improve and although there are aspects I don't like, I'm looking forward to improvements. It's easy to trash and bash games when your ideal game is not existent.
I used to play World of Warcraft, but after a hundred times of losing my account due to various hacking and support problems, I decided I'm done with it. I tried Star Wars Galaxies, and while it was fun, I don't think it was worth $15 dollars a month. I also recently tried D&D Online, but I didn't ever like highly instanced games like Guild Wars. I hope to try Star Trek Online, but i won't even touch the game until they have a free trial. Other games I'm looking into are Star Wars: The Old Republic and APB, but I won't know until I try them.
The short of it is this; no game has made me completely happy, and in fact, most games don't.... MMO's are fun, but I haven't found the right one for me, yet. I hope to. Anyone got any suggestions? I like sci-fi or fantasy, I like games wtih a lot of different choices to take your character, I like games where it doesn't feel like I'm alone in the world.
i was completely happy with EQOA but then sony stopped supporting/updating the game so with nothing new ever going to happen with a game it was time to try and find somethign else i liked as much but haven't found it yet.
Have been playing EvE from early 2004. Around the time they shut down E&B. I just recently pulled my sub, don't think ill be playing for awhile. I have done almost everything in game that I think i could do, and its just getting old for me. So I have been out looking at some new games to play. along the why i have tried the new ones that come out but none really hit the right spot. To me each game will have its lovers and haters, I just cant bash a game that isn't to my liking in the first place.
Not really. I've bounced around from WAR, Lotro (lifetime sub), AoC, Champions Online, STO, Eq2, Vanguard, PoTBS, CoH, and currently "trying" to like Aion. I find I sub/unsub more frequently as the years go on. I'll try DF when they come out with a trial...but I'm not a fan of the full loot system. So in short, the answer is no. Everything is about 50/50: things I like vs things I detest.
Im happy with EVE. With WoW, lotro, and other games, I always felt that there was a impassable wall in the end, either raiding, or story content patches, but with EVE, it feels like there is no end to what I can do. It feels liberating tbh.
If you stand VERY still, and close your eyes, after a minute you can actually FEEL the universe revolving around PvP.
Im happy with Darkfall even after almost 2months beta and 1 year of playing it.
Games played:AC1-Darktide'99-2000-AC2-Darktide/dawnsong2003-2005,Lineage2-2005-2006 and now Darkfall-2009..... In between WoW few months AoC few months and some f2p also all very short few weeks.

Full loot system in darkfall is not as bad as you think first you can craft its not that hard, secondly you can replace what you lost rather easy.
And its not that every step you make you been ganked world is huge there are so many places you can go and no risk been ganked constantly.

None so far, always I can think of areas a game could definitely improve in.
Currently "most" happy with DDO, though I've got a urge to go back to either EQ2 or WoW as my guild has a strong presence in both & I miss their company, none of them play DDO.
EQ - too many overly large timesinks, player avatars need a hardcore overhaul & the animations blow these days.
EQ2 - performance is terriblly under-par no matter the pc, the player character designs look too plastic & not organic enough & the raid balance is too far leaning on support classes.
CoH/CoV - needs a serious quest & quest area overhaul, mind-munbingly repetitive over useage of the same "dungeon type" & the combat flow is too clunky, could use a "alter ego" portion built into the game, no super hero/villan should be super all the time except in the online games & this has so much potential it's sad it hasn't been done yet.
DDO - needs some real "open world" areas & the game-world feels butt-pinchingly small, no exploration no mounts needed to travel because the world is the size of a small town park.
I'm sure most MMO vets could write up bigger lists.
I'm not known for being completely happy wif many MMOs.
But I have to tell you that I am currently very happy wif Darkfall. Also I started playing EVE in 2005, and have never been away for more than 5 months. So I guess I'm pretty happy wif EVE too.

No I'm not completyely happy with any MMO I've ever played. The closest I was to it would have been back in my UO playing days.
I think the thing MMO players should consider when playing these days is that there will never be a game created that makes you completely happy, it will have something, not matter how tiny, that just bugs you. The key is to weigh how much fun you have versus how much the things you hate about a game bother you.

I'm enjoying Darkfall, only thing I'd like changed is the blood-wallers and guys holing themselves up in towers with targetdummy toons.
like Artemis Blade on Na-1 Kill that guy if you see him he's a macroer
It sucks being a hardcore player at heart but a casual player in availability. ~NightCloak

I am very happy "wif" LOTRO as well. It's not perfect but it beats the heck out of most MMO's out there.

I've been happy while playing a number of mmos, but over time games change, communities change, etc. where I felt it was time to move on.
Currently my efforts to move on and find something new I like are fail.
EQ1, EQ2, SWG, SWTOR, GW, GW2 CoH, CoV, FFXI, WoW, CO, War,TSW and a slew of free trials and beta tests
