Hey,

Im probably a "rarity", a DAoC noobie. I've been playing WoW lately and got a little bored, so for some reason today on a trip with my friends to boston I picked up DAoC platinum edition for 20 bucks :P. So I installed it and of course theres an update but its downloading at 1kb/sec -.-

Question: Is there any website to go to to download the updates quicker? If so, what website would this be?

    There is some server issues going on today so maybe that is it.  Other than that it would have to deal with your connection.  I am on a cable modem and I get over 1/2 a meg a second when it updates. 

    There isn't a website to download updates off of, but you can order a CD from them.  You have to pay $3.95 for the shipping and they will send you a copy up to the latest patch.  It is that or get a copy of the files from a friend.
