Poll: What ship "class" will you choose?

Subject line says it all, just wondering what the community was looking forward to using as their ship type.
I'm personally leaning towards escort right now, but still leaving the possibility of getting a cruiser.

Cruiser, as it seems more inline with my view of how Star Trek should be.
I'm suprised by the results. I would have thought that the Cruiser would be more popular.

DPS classes are always the most populated in any MMO.
Playing: EVE, Final Fantasy 13, Uncharted 2, Need for Speed: Shift
Science vessel - Shield strength and regeneration rate seems to me so far to play a big role in the outcome of a battle. With the right Shield/Station/BO setup a Science ship can out tank any Cruiser. Just my opinion of course.

well your sheild strength is all well and good yet someone with an escort ship poping max yeild 2 and attack pattern alpha at the same time and laying into you can really ruin your day.
I can get my shields back up before you get a second shot and then it's on.

I was thinking the same thing. I thought I was in the minority when I wanted my ship to be a small and mobile "defiant" esque ship instead of a huge power house like the enterprise.
EDIT: But, the votes have evened out a lot since the poll opened, looks a lot more equal now.
Quite enjoying my time with the Cruiser in OB atm, most likely this ship I'll stick with on release.
I'll be playing a cruiser to combo with my friends science and escort vessels, but I hear science is actually a lot more powerful than people first perceive.
