It is said to release around February 23 this year. It will explain the lore between GW1 and GW2.

    Nope.

I wont read it, unless Guild Wars 2 turns out to be a good game and interesting lore.

I didnt read WoW books untill I got into the Game. (Note: Not talking about the WoW Role Playing books, I still wana read them, but dont know where to buy them)

Would be nice if GW would make a Role playing book and game like WoW did.

Anyone remember the first Guild Wars game box set? I remember the little book you got in that. I was young at the time, but I certainly enjoyed it. So yes, I will be reading the book.

I don't read books based off of games ever. I read real books.

Now if a game is based off of books that have been around for a while (ex. LotR) I've probably read the books or if not I have a decent chance of reading them.

    is there 1 explaining gw1 story or/and before gw1? =)

    now: GW2 (11 80s).
    Dark Souls 2.
    future: Mount&Blade 2 BannerLord.
    "Bro, do your even fractal?"
Recommends: Guild Wars 2, Dark Souls, Mount&Blade: Warband, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning.

I agree.what's a "real book".books based on fantasy are not any different than a game based on one.
