Heroes of Kung Fu is a Massive Multiplayer Online Historical PvP Martial Arts Role Playing Browser based Game with numerous amounts of quests and equipments at the player’s disposal. Heroes of Kung Fu takes place during the Warring States period of ancient China, where wars are fueled with rage almost everywhere. Your role is a warrior coming from modern times to the ancient times to help your own country stand against invaders.

You can choose your favorite weapons and learn relevant skills for your character, and excel by winning over others in the arena. (Meaning, if you defeat someone in the Arena, you can make your opponent your slave and you will continue gaining experience. If you become a slave, you need to challenge the player who defeated you in the Arena, to earn your freedom.)

Unique Slave System

The unique slave system was originally created in Heroes of Kung Fu by merging the features of the Warring States. You just need to defeat your opponent in the arena, and the opponent will become one defeated by you. Click the slave market, and you’ll see his/her name in your defeated list. You can capture him/her as your slave and send him/her to work in the city to give benefits. (Something like Gothic!)

There are plenty of opportunities for adventuring, fighting to the death, creating or joining a martial hall, and participating in the martial hall battles. Also, thousands of unique missions and challenging instances are waiting for you.

HoK is not just killing monster. It is a PK MMORPG where you can turn on and off PK system anytime when you go out from the safety of your designated Kingdom.

* Those who use spears are righteous knights. They are robust and possess great constitution and arm power. In fights, they dominate with superior physical attacks and great defensive power. People call them Knights.

* The sword is the most popular weapon both in ancient times and the present. A sword user features balanced fighting power. People call them Knight-errant.

* Most dagger users are good at assassination. They control the fight with stealth and unpredictability. Speed and luck play critical roles in their fighting action. They often hide themselves among the public and launch a fatal attack at decisive moments. People call them Hermits.

One thing that catches my attention is the Drag and Drop item in inventory. It makes you feel you’re playing Diablo.

The Battle is run like a text base free form role playing such as dodging, thrusting, parrying etc. It doesn’t auto battle though but run real time battle text role playing. Just try it for yourself, it’s hard to explain. ^^

It’s really a typical MMORPG almost Diablo like but in browser mode. ^^ Now, I see why people play it because it’s good. ^^

After you choose your state, you will be taken to the Kingdom you have currently chosen. I chose Han Kingdom for its strong willed heroes!

HoK has another unique system feature called Training. It’s not like the typical Built-In Macro for MMORPG games but has similar functions where you can level up your character without having to click and fight monsters or players. You can level up your character while even you’re sleeping, going out with your friends, and going to work/school. For me, it’s one of the best features of this game. No wonder many people are playing it. It’s easy, simple, Diablo like mmorpg while tactical mmorpg at the same time with warring states and a PK game. Very Cool Huh!? Love it! ^^

Arena PvP is something like this. Once you defeated your opponent, you can make him your slave. xD It’s really a PK heroes warring game. ^^

Instead of the typical warp/rift teleporter to other kingdoms, you can avail on air flights to let you go to other kingdoms! I lol at this! I can’t go through the road because it’s heavily guarded from other kingdom soldiers with a lot of monsters and higher level player characters who PK low level characters, so I sought some other way to go to the other kingdom and found this Airline ready to take off with 500 Coin Fare! xD ^^

Here’s the world Map and the other warring states. There are many check points on the road and some area are roamed by very strong creatures.

Well, that’s the end of our Tour. I hope you found out the secret of Heroes of Kung Fu’s success. As for me, I’m gonna play it and determined to Rule this game! LoL I always do when something new comes! I hope I won’t end up a Game Hopper. It’s really hard to choose a game to stay now these days. Huhuhu….
