I'm talking your typical MMO period of time. Months and months to maybe even a year.(I've never been able to stick to one MMO over a year straight except DAoC). Are there a lot of dungeons and areas to explore with people? Does it get boring running the same dungeons over and over again? How big are the raids and do the boss fights have strategy to them?

The game have more than 200+ adventures(72 ftp) and 20+ "explorable" areas, so yea enough to keep you happy for a good time
some dungeons gets boring after few runs but there a lot o adventures that will take time till you get bored
The raids are 12-man and take 1-2+ hours usually, there is about 9-10 raids only 1 is ftp ,and yes requires strategy to kill the bosses and most of then require some kind of trick to defeat then, for example the boss of Tempest Spine require you to solve a puzzle while fighting with him.
Short version : yes, but you will probably end up slinging Turbine money for more content, either by a sub or buying Turbine points.
If you don't pay it will get boring soon enough. If you pay... well i don't really know. They didn't accept my CC so i got bored and stopped.
"Traditionally, massively multiplier online games have been about three basic gameplay pillars combat, exploration and character progression. In Alganon, in addition to these we've added the fourth pillar to the equation: Copy & Paste."
This about sums it up perfectly.

Real life brings repetition and pointlessness too. The only thing real life offers is Great graphics. Its kinda expensive too and way to dependent on the cash shop. Totally pay to win as well. No thank you. Ill stick to my games.
Ever play diablo where you redid previous areas just for drops and to grind exp ? You can do the same here with dungeons on different difficulties. Plus you'll wanna try out different classes and multiclassing which makes the game more interesting.
One complaint I have is that you'll be waiting or created a group to do a certain place, people join and you get ready to go when suddenly one person says "Oh I'm not P2P" and leaves, slowing you down. I wish they made it easier to identify what content was P2P and who wasn't VIP. I hate having to wait to do instances wasting time.
