in Star Trek Online

Starfleet ShuttlecrafT Type-8 shuttle is standard equipment for most Federation starships and starbases. A short-range auxiliary vehicle used for personnel transport and small cargos, shuttlecraft have limited warp capacity. They are unarmed and have minimal shields.

 

WHAT DOES IT DO IN GAME ? if anyone knows anything about this plz let me know . thx

    My guess is it's actually a small pet that follows your ship around while you're in space. This actually seems like a pretty neat little item, and I wish I could get one but only EU gets it apparently.

     everyone can have shuttles btw, boarding shuttles anyway if you train for them, they attack enemy ships and disable systems for you, if you take down shields for them at least

    Maybe the shuttle acts as extra Cargo/Inventory space?
