Well I don't quite like any of them. The first one isn't bad because it has no video card so you can buy one you like, but it should be 4GB DDR3 ram instead of DDR2. The 2nd one also should have DDR3, but it has a crap video card. The 3rd one does have DDR3, but 8GB instead of 4GB which is unnecessary for a budget PC, and still has a crap video card.

If I had to choose from one of those 3 I'd get the first one @ $500 and order this Radeon 5770 for $155 or 9800GT for $100 (only because WoW runs particularly well on nvidia). The only downside to that system is being stuck with DDR2.

You could go straight to ibuypower.com and custom configure one yourself. Go to the custom configurator and get something between an Athlon II x2 245 and Phenom II x3 720, 4gb DDR3, 785G mobo, Radeon 5770 or Nvidia 9800GT, should come out around $600-$640 on their site.

Heres a pretty good ibuypower pc. Only 629 buck, you may want to upgrade the video card to a 5750 and it would tear through wow and still only 750 bucks.

    Ibuypower

Edit: Make sure you select the free stuff!

cyberpower and ibuypower are the same companies. and they are great. i bought mine for 529 and it runs aion perfectly on high settings

my advice: order from the site directly, and find a system that is close to what you want so you dont have to do too many upgrades.

-i also paid for the "protective shipping and pro-wiring". it couldnt hurt to leave a nice message when placing the order.

-you have to be careful when ordering. the site is cheap becuase labor and customer service can be poor. if you get screwed, be calm and say to yourself "this is what i get for being cheap" and then try to get help.

But again, my exp. was great.

EDIT: i just read the reviews on ibuypower....use the cyberpower website..you dont want to get a system that isnt compatible with its own components. seriously. please use cyberpower.com

When you have to take precautions against buying from somewhere, then you know that it isn't a good company to buy from.

My advice to the OP: build your own. For ~$800 you can get a pretty decent mid-range computer. Using previous generation parts for the vast majority of it will save you quite a bit of money. Go with a core2(quad/duo), ddr2 RAM, and probably a Radeon 4870.

AMD may be cheaper for the processor and mobo, I've been rather busy and not keeping track of processor developments lately.

    Now with 57.3% more flames!
