I've been hearing some good things about this game.
Has anyone around here been on the betas that can tell something more specific about the game? It's due to release in jan 26th and it seems a great online experience with some massive battles

I believe I read that today, the 28th you can download the open beta for MAG off the PSN. The open beta starts Jan 4th.
Check the PS3 official sight cause I'm always high when on the Internet.
i heard there will be 200+player on this game if thats right this will be one insane game for console
each battle supports 256 players, and yes, it will be massive =P
But I went to the PSN Store and there is nothing there about MAG and nothing to download. I am in europe so I dont know the dates

It's a shooter with some twists.
It has some rpg elements like equipable armor with increasingly better stats based on level.
Weapon and armor upgrades.
A level up system with talent points to customize your character in it's class etc.
Together with objectives to fulfill in each battle, much like quests. Wich award experience points.
The game will also feature 3 factions. It seems a great game
