No. Netscape WebMail and Hotmail use proprietary protocols. To access WebMail directly through an e-mail client requires you to use Netscape 6+ with AIM; to do so with Hotmail requires either Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express

You would have to use an existing AOL account, or a POP3, HTTP, or IMAP server or a previous outlook account using these servers. I am pretty sure you can get FTP mail off it as well. Good luck.

so goes that mean yahoo mail also? if so where can i set up a new account that is free and use thunderbird?
