Its a serious lesson in frustration and only amounts to wasting your time.
So here is my story, last night i decided to DL this game, download went fine, pretty fast infact and only 1.9Gig, not bad! Well not bad until you realise you need upto 15GIG of free space on your harddrive to install it otherwise it will fail to install, not a single word of this during the install process, so i decided to check out the official forums and found a solution! Great! until you realise the uninstallation programs not only uninstalls the game files but also the setup file aswell! omfg!
Attempt 2: DLed game again, went quick! (good) installed with 15gig free space.. installed fine.. great! So im finally in the game, no tutorial.. ok no worries, ive been playing mmos for along time i can figure this out! went to the offical website, read the guide, which turned out to be a series of about 20 paragraphs and ended up being pretty basic information. No worries because they have forums! so i went to register there so i could join the community and get involved.. but i couldnt register because the page times out every-single-time .. waiting for ndoors.com... waiting.. time out! omfg!
So sod this, ill just play dammit! enter game, have a fight.. oo this is fun! i got 20 mercenaries to get, craft items, earn a billion gold so much to do.. my future atlantica life is flashing before my eyes .. ok theres a guy stood there.. right where you zone in, great! im not a lone! Hi! i said.. 1000M=$29.99 he replied? Pardon me? i quirked, selling Gold selling Gold selling Gold!... first person i see and its a gold spamming mank-bucket .. omfg.
There is an NPC over there, at least they wont spam me stupid.. run over.. Hi! i quirked, wanna quest? she replied .. OF course! go kill those guys over there .. righty ho and off i go.. well i tried.. ran toward enemy.. and seemly ran straight into glass wall, a glass wall so clean you couldnt see it, even my feet were still running.. so i take a step back and try again .. nope.. ok ill log out and back in.. the invisable wall is gone i sqealed! er no, no it hasnt its moved, 3 foot away .. log out, log in enter verification code, enter code .. submit .. wait .. wait .. timer = 0 omfg!
Restart Atlantica, enter login info .. were sorry you cant log in fro 5 minutes! OMFG!

Just for that reason you already quit the game? well I can see that you don't have a hard work playing an mmo... for the simple reason you quit... well for me at first Ao is kinda boring but when i still continue to play the game I explore and learned a lot from other players also, then I realize that it was really a good game. But of course as new patches goes there's a lot of changes in the game, lots of Nerf's? Yeah I feel it... but it's like in real life, you must continue your journey no matter what and always think positive and let's take it a challenge... survivability challenge... ^^

There are always these things:
1. Peer Chat - where you can ask other players within your level range for information
2. Forums - where you can find guides and even ask questions
Yeah you encountered some difficulties at the start. But what mmo doesnt have that. I've learned to move passed that and guess what. I love this game. nuff said.
