So... Zombieland.

I have not made any new threads personally in a long while and this was an excellent reason to make one.  I figured I'd kill 2 birds with one stone by making a thread and talking about Zombieland... which I just saw.

I really liked it.  It was the first movie in a long while now that I've walked out of not regretting spending the money.  My 3 buddies agreed on it as well.  People actually clapped at the end and I don't hear that much anymore, as well you could hear unanimous laughter when the funny parts came on.  This is definitely a winner in my book.

No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-

It's one of the few movies i've went to see in the past decade that delivered on my expectations of it and then some.  The movie was just tons of fun and everyone in the theatre had a good time.

The best movies are the ones the whole audience can get into,  even if the movie itself is bad.

Best movie going experiance i've had was the X-Files movie.  Big in the day,  but still the same somewhat boring sci-fi alien version of silence of the lambs set-up.  The part where mulder and scully are locked into each others gaze and he inches closer and backs away to build suspence got one of my friends to stand up in the theater and yell "Just kiss her you homo". To which the entire audience began chanting loudly Kiss her,  kiss her kiss her.  For pretty much the rest of the movie it was almost  one critic after another yelling.   The stanard,  behind you,  etc,  etc

Bad movie but a good time.

Pretty sure at least 80% of the audience being college aged was a factor also.

    Saw it. Great movie.

Good cast, good writing with enough story and substance to balance the campy parts, wonderful cameo appearance from a terrific well known actor. that's the way to do a cameo!

Better than Transformers, Star Trek, and Wolverine, which I looked forward to, but were all let downs.

go see it. The opening credits are worth the price of admission compared to the average movie.

I'm curious about this new movie I just first saw the trailer in Yahoo then I got intewrested to really watch it. And it's a movie that there almost 4-5 person killing the zombie together and without an effort.

I'm a big fan of zombie movies, but I'll tell all you hardcore people that are just looking for an apocalyptic flesh feast- this is not that movie.  It is a great movie in it's own right, and there ARE zombies and zombie action- but doom is not what this movie dwells in.

I loved it and I'm hoping for a sequel to serve up some more, even if it's not as good as the original it'd still be worth a watch.  Go see this movie.

What Glockin said.  This is not a horror movie.  If you're looking for horror or excessive gore then this is not what you're looking for.

Zombieland, huh? I guess I'd check it out! I've only heard of this now.
