So it looks like they gave you people a separate forum for religion and politics...and it also looks like they unbanned the people who were banned for something said/done in a religion/politics thread...interesting.  Anywhoo, dunno how much I'll really post here since I have 19.5 units (getting ready to graduate) and work full time...but we'll see how much time I can make =P

 

So yeah...been doing a lot of Warhammer 40k stuff lately...and I'm about to graduate, that's about it I guess....not much else has changed...how's life for you people? =P

    Degrees in English and Bible/theology...would have graduated last semester if it wasn't for the second degree.

     

    And I dunno if I should change my avatar or not...it seems to be in rather poor taste now, but at the same time...it's still true and funny.

    So you going to go far a masters degree and possibly teach college level or maybe you're going to go for a teaching certificate and teach grade school?   What are your plans?   Maybe find a job as an editor?  By the way how good were you in english anyway?   If I finish my book, would you be willing to edit it so that when I do submit it, it'll atleast pass as being written in english and not street hoe?  LOL!

    Hey man, good to see some of the familiar faces around here.  My ban just ended a couple weeks ago as well.  Congratulations on the last semester.  As for me, I just started a job with the DDSSA (Disability Determination for Social Security Administration, yea, it's fun to explain where I work to people.)  I'm a disability claims adjudicator apparently.  As New Mexico and Oregon couldn't handle their case load, the Arkansas DDS branch hired 100 of us to start a "megacenter," so if you ever file a disability claim, I'll hook you up with a fat check, yo.

    How long is the book?  I'm not gonna lie, as much as I would love to be able to do that for you, I am actually in the middle of writing a novela (was supposed to be a short story, but is turning into something too long for that title) for my portfolio...that and the other 16.5 units that I'm taking (minus the three for the class that the novela is for) are quickly becomming my entire life.  I also need to write 8 more poems by the end of the semester but to be honest I think that I'm all out of inspiration for now...I have no clue what I'm going to write the other poems about and I don't want to submit old stuff.

     

    When I graduate though, I would be happy to do it for you...That'll be early December.

    well i mean...been here since 2003, I guess it's still a lot of posts...but uhh...yeah.
