This bug is known from beginning even video was made and placed on youtube.
Devs realy dont care they first dont fix these bugs people exploit them and legit players get pawn by cheaters.
Report dont help topics on offical forum removed are devs realy that dumb?
Im pissed also becouse the guy who cheated just laugh at your face and say GM can't do nothing i can do what ever i want and when i report Gm he says we need 100% proof lol.
Bugs stays ingame becouse devs dont fix them exploiters rule and normal legit players leave.
Well done AV you lose a longterm follower plus sixmonths old player who is sick and tired of cheaters/hackers.
Your killing your own game and dont even realise this or care lol.

They have a very VERY long list of bugs to fix That said they are working on it, and the game has come a long way from where it was. Maybe give it a break until October? You may find that by then many of the bugs that really get your goat have finally been fixed. We can but hope!
Don't want to say anything wrong, but... ain't quitting because of a bug one of the worst reasons to quit? Because eventually (even though it might take a long time sometimes) bugs get fixed.
If you dislike the graphics, sounds, setting or whatever... now that is a reason to quit, because that won't change. But because of a bug? Sure they are annoying, but sooner or later they get fixed.
Let's play Fallen Earth (blind, 300 episodes)
Let's play Guild Wars 2 (blind, 45 episodes)
You left the game due to one gank by a cheater? LOL!!!!
This whole time all you've been doing is calling everyone on these boards a carebear and newb.
I find what happened to you extremely hilarious.
WoW is that way ------------------------------->

though i cant say ive quit over one exploited bug. i do have to admit that there comes a point where you just get fed up. i was a hardcore believer in Vanguard, and was devoted too it as if it were a second religion, but in the end i just couldnt take the shitty bugs and all the glitches. hope you find a game that you can enjoy.

Yeah they deleted my post, in under 60 seconds. I'm not going to even bother posting anything there anymore. It's a forum circle jerk for fanbois now. The one follow up post before delete, was someone going on about how there is no more cheating in Darkfall. I'm sure that is easy to say, when you're probably doing the cheating.
Posted by Evasia And good riddance if you realy have played we dont need negative liars. Ive played for almost 7 months and maybe have seen 2 hackers THATS ALL.
(You claimed there was no cheating, and called me a liar, about a week ago. You can piss off. And I'm glad you ended up at the end of some hacks stick. I hope he camps you off the game with hacks.)
he will be back playing in 2 weeks no questions.
Yeah, I'd have to admit that is a bit of karmic justice.
Mounts that can run on water??? What?
And Evasia, i think we need to see what the October patch will do : )
All gamers are curious by nature, Darkfall payers are the most curious of them all.
See you in October.
I just can't help but wonder if i'm the only one that got a deja-vous feeling from reading this thread......???
Iiii-iiiiiit's.... me!!! *Hooray*
Makes em glad I never payed for the game after completing beta and seeing how bad the exploiting was there

It's amazing how vehemently the fans turn on one of their own if they violate the "sacred code" by critisizing the game. I feel for you Evasia.
1st Rule of Darkfall: Don't talk about Cheaters.
To the above posters who have decided to rip into the original poster because she has expressed her feeling to the community - shame on you. That kind of self-righteous chest beating are a big part of why Darkfall has such a bad name. AV has put a lot of effort into improving the game, and honestly it would be a shame if the OP did not try it again once the next content patch hits.
AV has tried to lift its game - and has done a surprisingly good job of it. Remember this game was a synonym for vaporware not so long ago. Maybe it's time to pull back on the personal flaming in this forum, and get back to talking about the game.
The truth! It hurts!
Evasia, you probably had other reasons to quit, and I think we must all respect them. Game on.
I did not rip into him, I stated that he had a resonable reason to quit.
But I know what he posts and he bitches alot and that's the truth - since I read his posts on the main forums and on here I know his posting habits -
I'm not defending AV or DF.
Evasia gives alot of people a hardtime. SO we poked a little at him/her for being ganked by a loser cheater..
No chest pumping, well not on my part anyway.

No that's one of the best reasons to quit. If it's not fixed within a few weeks.. and it's frustrating.. then you quit. If you enjoy the game otherwise, then you come back once the game is more stable.
No point in enduring a buggy game on the off chance that some day in the future near or far that it will get fixed. That's just silly.
Precisely why even though I find the game premise interesting I will not sub. Until they make a concerted effort to eradicate hacking in DFO its simply a matter of a number of people exploiting everyone else, and ruining what is otherwise a good game premise.
The fact of the matter is in my opinion...AV will never hammer hackers because it is simply a matter of economics. I railed against radaring in DAOC yet little or nothing was done against it for years, and I personally was temp banned for "speed hacking". The funny thing was I was running a buff on my toon that my class has, was reported...and banned.
MMO companys be they AV or the carnival known as Mythic will never strictly enforce anti hack bans or farming bans for the simple reason that they would prefer to ignore it as these people are a revenue stream. Amazingly enough the people that run these companys still do not understand the long term inpact this has on the casual player.
Case in point, recently in the VN boards a thread was made about farmers camping the dragon spawns. No one can even damage tag the spawns to get drops because the farmers have half a dozen alts slaved to them, and immediately tag the dragon.
The consequence of this is no one can get the drops unless they are willing to pay insane plat to buy the drops. Casuals will not tolerate this, Mythic lets it persist. Result? Subs suffer over term. AV is making the same mistake, and I...frankly will not subject myself to a game that allows unbridaled hacking at the expense of the casual, or even more aptly, honest player.
As a aside, I pity the hats that consider themselves elite for doing so, I spit on them in DAOC, and frankly it appears this lower life form is alive and well in AV.

In my opinion your post mirrors the feelings of the majority of gamers.
We've all heard plenty of comments on this subject from both sides...
I think most of us are smart enough to know the truth is somewhere between the two extremes.
So, then we come to the next argument in "defense" of AV's hacking and cheating policy:
Technically that "defense" is true. However it doesn't delve into the dynamics of why most of us consider AV's handling of the problem to be insufficient for the long-term health of DarkFall.
In my opinion the problem is three-fold:
The other dynamic of hacking and cheating in DarkFall that is different than most MMOs is the FFA PvP nature of DarkFall. As many supporters of DarkFall have pointed out... DarkFall is different.
When someone hacks or cheats in WoW, LoTRo, FFXI, EQ2, WAR, AoC, etc. it might help them get a bit more gold or some gear, but it usually doesn't impact us directly.
However, in DarkFall when someone hacks or cheats, it usually results in our death and the loss of everything that we are carrying. The same can be said of any game where it's primary premise is FFA PvP. To me anyway, that is a major difference. It's a much bigger deal for DarkFall to deal with hackers and cheaters in a swift and efficient manner than most other MMOs.
Anyway, that is my opinion on the subject...
Hopefully Aventurine will get it straightened out soon.
Dear Evasia,
I really wanted to rip into you because youve yet again flip flopped, one week you love it and insult others that dont. Then days later you hate DF and have some great sob story about it. But then lo and bohold, you flipped again going back into DF defense mode. And here we are again, all buttsore and angry about yet another thing that youve vehemently denied. Pack it up man, you are wasting peoples time.
Got to agree here. Pick a side of the fence and stay on it longer than a day.
Don't say anything though, for some strange reason it leads to a warning. The mods here are some of the most insightful and intelligent humans it has ever been my privilidge to have come into conatct with, no matter how etherial. When I grow up I want to be just like them. It is my strong belief their next promotion is of diety or something?

Don't run to the Water to aviod being killed in PvP and water log? Stop the QQ man I have played for some time now and have never seen anyone do this but then again I don't run like a bitch to water and logout.
Wait, wait, wait, wait. Just a few days ago you swore up and down that there was no cheating or exploiting in the game what-so-ever and now you rage quit because you got killed by a cheater? Certainly your faith isn't so easily broken.

LOL GO BACK TO WoW.

1. Where do they say they "ran to the water"? By their description it sounds like they were near water to begin with, or possibly swimming somewhere when it happened.
2. Where do they state, imply, or even say anything that can be remotely construed as them logging out in the water to avoid PvP? Oh... they didn't... You just assumed that and then proceeded to accuse them of "QQ'ing" about it.
In other words, your post consists of you using your own conjecture as an excuse to bash the OP, and has absolutely nothing of relevance at all to their post.
Well done.
