It is the Kinah spammers with their 900,000K bandage for sale shouting about Aion Kinah and powerleveling every 3 feet of game space that drives me nuts

hmm , so you pay monthly for this and get the same spam/scam garbage delivered ?

    interesting.....

They pretty much cluster right around the main city teleporter but there are stragglers near the bank/trade broker...Once you run past that and get your business done though, it's nice and peaceful in the rest of the world. It's the same with every game ^_^

Yeah come back and tell me the same thing in a couple of weeks / months when you enter a town and your graphic card will start crying because there's a shitload of personal stores on your screen, to the point where you can't make up the color of the tiles on the ground or can't find the NPC you need to speak with to finish your quest since he will be lost somewhere in that crowd....

Personal stores are stupid and a pain in the ass in the long run, end of story... You just watch when they'll take over the towns and capital cities... Not mentionning the gold farmers that will be in the bunch too...

For the old timers here that played Ragnarok Online: you know what I'm talking about...

That doesnt happen in Aion, the game is well optimized, they made it so if your computer is slow it will only hide characters until they are loaded, instead of trying to load before letting you move. There are videos of PvP with hundreds and hundreds of players on each side, the guy sees a swarm of names, few characters are loaded on his screen, and he can move perfectly around the world targeting and throwing his AoEs without slowing down while the rest of textures keep loading.

Shall we say there is no problem with personal shops, then?

Why would you have to move around them? You can just pass through them

Morals are just other people's opinions and matter little to me unless I know them or of them, like a cop when you see human nature and all the great moral things people do on a daily basis to each other the stuff that does not even make it into the news then talk to me about morals

That confirms that you're exactly 14 years old.

I like the chairs. More chairs please :)

Some people set up shop cause they dont want to lose accumulated DP.  If you have full++ DP and u log out your DP will be back to nil.

Just curious if you can also toggle between chair/booth, I prefer booths, and I've seen other Korean MMO's that give you the option.

I'm a great fan of the chair traders usually cheaper and add's a bit more immersion IMO

I like entering a big city and seeing 100s of traders its true to life now entering a big city seeing it void of life and walking to some hut to search absolutely everything for sale in the world. (sounds too much like a internet cafe to me) :)
