Hello:
I'm looking for a game with the next characteristics in orther of importance:
1. Community must be mature (this is the most important feature I'm looking for), hopefully oriented to 18+ years old players.
2. Can be played by the casual player (1-2 hours per day, not everyday) with some sense of achievement.
3. Group/Guild oriented
4. Some PvP in it.
5. Suscription based or cash/item mall based or there is a way to buy in-game cash with real money (player market).
6. Can be playable on a laptop with an integrated video card, 1 GB RAM, win vista.
7. The game is considered of certain quality, meaning the bugs, lag, crashes are minimum, there is some customer support, updates, decent gameplay.
GAMES I ALREADY PLAYED
1. Tibia, from 2004-2006: great 2d game, addictive but crappy community. Nowdays botters ruined the game. Too much grinding.
2. Ragnaros Online, from 2004-2005: never fit into the community, childish graphics.
3. World of Warcraft, 2007-2009: very fun, too easy, crappy community, decent graphics. The PvE aspect, required too much time (raiding). Too much "elitist jerks" around.
4. Guildwars 2006: boring, community? Never got it. Pretty nice graphics.
5. Achaea 2005-2008: Achaea is a MUD, nice game, but it's text No much skills required since you could have it all scripted.
IN SHORT:
I'm looking for a game with decent gameplay, some challenge, but can be played by the casual gamer and most importantly, with MATURE community.
Thanks in advance for your valuable help

These would be my recommendations, all of which are Free to Play games!
Magic World Online : http://mwo.enjoymmo.com/
Checking out your previous games (all of which I have also played), I would highly recommend for you to check out Magic World Online. Fresh out of beta, awesome 2D world, I highly recommend for you to go onto the website and check out the screenshots.
Eternal Lands : http://eternal-lands.com/
My favorite mmorpg for about 2 years now, so I must recommend it to everyone. Decent 3D graphics, very mature community, huge open world, extensive gameplay, good updates, complex skill systems, and very enjoyable to play. I really hope you check out this game, it takes a while to really get into the game but after you play it for about a week you'll understand that it really isn't a game where you do the same things over and over, you will have to learn a lot and do many different things to advance in the game.
Runes of Magic : http://us.runesofmagic.com/
Essentially a WoW clone, so if you enjoyed WoW and want something similar here's a nice f2p version.
Dungeon Runners : http://www.dungeonrunners.com/
Another fun f2p game, try it out if you don't like any of the above suggestions.
Best Regards,
Austin Jackson
Currently Playing: Earth Eternal (Closed BETA w00t!), Eternal Lands, Magic World Online, ACE Online, Dark Orbit, Dead Frontier, Wizard 101, SpellCasters, America's Army, Dungeon Runners, Runes of Magic, DotA

(A lot of these games I jump around too, I'm most dedicated right now to Earth Eternal and Eternal Lands...)

DDO would fit you pretty well when it goes F2P, except for the PvP which is minimal. Community is mature, which I put down to the game being very group focused and involving teamwork.
Thanks for the answers so far.
Still looking for more input.
Going to try DDO and Eternal Lands
Looks like Eve online fits your requirements.
going to try the free trial from EVE, then DDO
thanks for help
Never heard of that one. Thanks for the info, I'm going to try it out.
If you are starting out, the Free server for new players (Golden Valley) is quite unwelcoming, and doesnt represent true 'Wurm'. So dont hesitate to send me a pm over the Wurm Forums, my name is 'Redeemed'
If mature is most important, EVE Online. It's kind of hard to get really far in that game without a huge time investment though. It is considered very high quality by many, and Corporations are pretty much the whole game. I myself couldn't stand the game because it's too many menus in what is a very cluttered UI. The learning curve is there but it is a bit overrated.
After playing EVE for 3 days I left because I could not stand the boring quests. I found them pointless and pushed me away of what I'm sure of, is a decent game. Community wasn't mature either in those 3 days, my only experience was the rook channel full of spammers and trolls. The player helpers where pretty decent.
I imagine as a hardcore gamer you can enjoy PvP, but as a casual gamer like me, mining and such ain't enough.
My suggestion to you would be to find a game that you like, then build a good friends list full of mature players to work with. Then start or join a guild with others that are liked minded.. Your not, let me repeat myself, you are NOT going to find a game that is full of mature players. Just like your NOT going to go into a social atmosphere and have it be filled with mature people. I thought WoW had a decent community. Because within the assholes you can find people that are cool. Ive had the luck of being a part of many mature guilds in WoW and LOTRO
You have to make the best of a community. In my experience LOTRO does have one of the best communities overall, but your still gonna find pricks there. Its just like real life. And remember, just because someone is 16 and not 18, doesnt mean they arent mature. And because someones 30 doesnt mean they're mature. Its all about the brains.
Good luck, and remember to have fun!
I haven't played LOTRO since beta but even then it was one of the coolest mmos because if you're a fan of the books/movies it all seems very familiar. It has a lot of content to make you feel like you're part of the world.
Someone recommended Rune of Magic, which may not be the best choice for mature community. I've had problems on more than one server with people spamming racial comments or otherwise trolling in zone chat.
That's one of the things you'll deal with in most MMOs. The best thing to do is find a game you like to play, then find a mature guild or group of friends. They are not hard to find since most larger guilds enforce rules of conduct and they always appreciate mature and sensible people.
