Gold selling companies in Asia have been known to have ties with organized crime, believe it or not.
LoL, My name is Spanky Lo, I'm got my hands in Pimping, Gambling and WoW Gold Botting. I enjoy long walks in the park and a glass of wine on the beach at sunset.
China's ideology on botting is vastly different from ours, and there's also IP restriction for Aion where I don't believe there was for Lineage. You can't even purchase the US version if you're not in the US, and same for the EU version, so that will make it more difficult for asian/S.American bot-fiends to fill the servers (and no, I'm not saying all botters are Asian or Brazillian but, let's be real, most are).
You really shouldnt post such BS info, there is no such limitation on purchasing or playing AION
There will be IP blocks in place and there already are restrictions for buying it.
There is no restriction on buyiing and there are no IP blocks making it NA only. You need to post facts not the crap that you dribble. Next you will be saying gameguard works.

Jesus, did you even look at the links I gave you?
There are blocks between continents and you can not, for example, buy the NA game in EU. I really hope you're just trolling at this point.
Because a certain vendor doesnt sell outside the US doesnt mean you carnt purchase EU or NA out side of EU and NA respectivly.
You link to a forum post thats not offical and really doesnt mean anything. Chinese and Korean Aion both playable from anywhere. I myself am not in the US and have had no trouble purchasing the game. NCsoft dont lock out regional IPs just look at all thier other games. I suggest you only post official information instead of your trolling.
Anyway I hope you all have fun and I'll see you back in whatever game you came from in a month or so.
The last link owns I spent 1 hour watching them plumetting into the ground down below, it was funny And sad at the same time. Btw, that spot is just good, some more spots designed like this should be made, like all respawn points having certain death around them That would be awesome
As for a more serious note, that area is still good, if there are too much bots around, you just use "change channel" and get away from them, but in Eltnen and later its impossible, cuz the "change channel" option will be turned off. So there will be you watching how YOUR mobs get ganked by 50, same looking, randomly named bots... ANd at the same time you gonna shout "GIEVE MY FRICKING MONEH BACK!!!"

Actually, you should really do a bit of research before you begin trying to troll. Look at the NCSoft website itself and you will see what you are allowed to purchase is dependent upon your region. Sure, you can probably find someone willing to buy you an NA box if you're in EU, but that's like saying I can't import J-Pop; no one's saying it's impossible, just that it's not immediately available. You have to jump through hoops to do this which makes it very difficult for large-scale operation. You're quibbling over details purely out of disdain and it's unflattering.
Whether NCSoft locks out regional IPs on their other games is irrelevant, just that they stated they are doing so for this one. Ayase in his own post, acknowledged there were still ways around this, because he's smart enough to realize there are ways around anything. The point is, they're making the attempt, and that is enough to deter the majority of botters. Yes, someone like you can work around it, but considering you're making a forum post I'd say it is a safe bet you're not a bot; you're not MEANT to play on US servers, but they're not going to waste time and resources kicking you, a legitimate player, out of the game when the efforts can be concentrated on whole groups of people ruining the economy.
There is a link to a post by Ayase, one of the Community Managers and member of the Aion faculty (so there's your "official") stating their efforts in IP blocking, after a player complains that after buying an NA key he found he still couldn't get in-game with his European IP.
And for the last time, CAion has a different publisher, and nothing done in that game can or should be compared to any other version. How they run their game doesn't reflect how anyone else will. They've had the game for months now and are still running on the earliest version, while the US/EU, which isn't even live yet, is already going to be using a later version. China has made it quite clear they couldn't care less about the game or its players.
"Forums aren't for intelligent discussion; they're for blow-hards with unwavering opinions."
There are no IP restrictions on South American players as there are no official server choices for them as of now.
While you may say brazillians can be a RMT workforce, the funny thing is that there are no RMT companies for the MMOs hosted over here, you won't find a single spamming bot over here, while in games like RF Online it's impossible to chat through the Map and General (busy areas) chats. It's generally a major complaint from Brazillian players when they comment about playing on NA/EU servers - the existence of illegal third-party companies selling virtual goods that infest the game with bots and spamming.

As to purchasing A copy of NA Aion , gamestop, gamestops subsidaries EB games , Amazon and others all will ship NA aion to anywhere in the world. All easily done from the comfort of my chair.
The thread you link to states multiple times that there is NO ip block for playing NA Aion.
There is currently an IP block at account creation, region key+ matching ip. Which is easily got around by using an anonymous IP or a proxy, not at all big hurdles for the companies the run bots with the intension of selling ingame currency for real dollars.
If you read the thread Even that IP block is currently under review and has been for at least the last month. Posted mulitple times by both Ayase and Liv.
Personally I am all for making it hard for gold sellers, this how ever wont even come close, getting rid of game guard for a game protection that actually worked would be more in line with what is needed.
And as to the regional IP blocking I have friends in the US who play the korean live not just the Chinese version.
To the botters: Why play a game if you don't physically enjoy the process. Does being stronger than everyone else in a game really matter? Plus your strength is borrowed strength that is achieved through no hardship.
To the RMT: Sure, if you want to break the rules and sell virtual currency, I have nothing to say. However, at least do it in a way that you won't affect how players play the game. I know you are not going away of your own volitions, but at least don't cause trouble for people.
Unless you have played Lineage 2 at High levels you simpy will not understand. Everything you guys have mentioned WAS and still is done buy those very, very few legits that still remain. NCsoft are masters of the tounge, they say one thing and do the other or nothing at all. When L2 began the leveling was hard yes, it was not impossible, but hard. The longer the game was around the higher they kept raising there levels and compounding XP reqs until any normal player simply could not keep up with the botters, even people that played 20 hrs a day. More and more legits started to bot, at first they were shunned by the community but not for long as more became botters themselves until a time came when teh bots controlled every server and every majo alliance that existed on all servers. The ecomomy raged out of control to the point where you had to buy adnea period to play the game. To put it into perspective a set of S Grade armor in lineage 2 costs around 1 Billion adena thats like $350.00 USD, Weapon was even higher and people pay this. Boss jewels are up to $4,000K USD and people pay this....... don't you get it yet people AION will be no differnet they wil get you hooked then start the Asin grinder BS, the Bot is available at gogygo.se go see it and read the posts for yourself. I personaly believe that the company itself is behind alot of the bots but that's speculation at best. Botter companies make up at least 2 million PAID accounts for NCSOFT so they will not BAN them unless it is a non factor toon. Heroes in L2 were never banned, where known botters, you could go see them anytime day or night at thier spots. Spam did ban a few of of them but they were all given thier accounts back buy "someone higer". As players have said you cannot fight the BOTs if you kill 1 they come back with 10 if you come with 100 they come with 200, it is a business to them and a way of life and why I will never play a Ncsoft game again. I am HBSR from Sieghart and Elvandar from SWG Starsider..... you will never beat the cheaters.
Comments
Same system Lineage 2 has and guess what NCSOFT just added it to appease players they do not acually do anything with it.
